For there is no distinction, for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Romans 3:22 WEBIt is so easy for us to become used to having positions, titles, and levels in the workplace during our life and th...

Walking on Water from Refreshing Hope Ministries on Vimeo. Today I want to talk about the importance of believing the Lord, of shaking off the naysayers and continuing on your own journey. People have a tendency to not want you to go where they have not been. Leaders cannot lead you, where they h...

Out of that terrible travail of soul, he'll see that it's worth it and be glad he did it. Through what he experienced, my righteous one, my servant, will make many 'righteous ones,' as he himself carries the burden of their sins. Therefore I'll reward him extravagantly' the best of everything, the ...

A Beautiful Mess

  • You have ravished my heart, my sister, my bride. You have ravished my heart with one of your eyes, With one chain of your neck. How beautiful is your love, my sister, my bride! How much better is your love than wine! The fragrance of your perfumes than all manner of spices! Song 4:9'10 WEB

It is refreshing to see people who are truly in love. When a person first falls in love, they can see nothing but good in the other person. How beautiful, how perfect, oh how smart they are, and if someone tries to warn them about how bad this person really is, they completely ignore it. 'You are wrong! That is impossible!' They may even hit you'

God loves you this way all the time. He does not see your all of your faults and shortcomings. If someone tried to tell Him your how messed up you really are, He does not hear it. He gave His only begotten Son to take away your sins, who washed you with His own blood. We only have to ask for His forgiveness.

Paul wrote 'For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.' (Romans 8:38'39).

If you turn your back and walk away He would be heartbroken, but He loves you enough to let you go free. You are a beautiful mess to the Lord and He loves every bit of you and nothing that you do is going to change that. His door is always open.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for loving me just as I am. Now I choose to love You back. Walk with me, talk with me, and help me get to know You better today, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

Nancy Cavataio
Nancy Cavataio Like Brian C., it seems that God has been trying to put into my brain how much He does love me! Several times over the last couple of months. And last Sunday's sermon was on 'Divine Love', and today-this! There are some of us who struggle with being loved unconditionally. This devotional is a big help. Thank you again Pastor Dion! And thank you God :)

Kathy Banfield
Kathy Banfield AMEN!! We should never listen to Satan's dirty lies when he tries to tell us we are worthless, hopeless, or ugly! I fell victim to eating disorders and fought 40 years to turn a deaf ear to Satan, so I can speak from experiencve. Only when I began viewing my anorexia/bulimia as a spritual disorder was I able to conquer the beast. Until I accepted and trusted Jesus, no doctor or medication could help me. And I still have to be alert, because Satan never gives up! He knows when we are tired, lonely, hungry and physically weak--just as he did with Jesus after our Lord fasted for 40 days after His baptism by John.Just remem er: Satan may persist, but his power is finite. God's power is infinite!

Deleted Member Amen, alll we have to do is hold on to Jesus tighter than ever and trust in Him and when satan tries to trick us up, we can tell him to get behind us in Jesus Name. God's love is awesome. I am so thankful that He loved me so, that He forgave me of my sins and let me be a follower of Him and to serve and love. God bless you. HAPPY THANKSGIVING, love and hugs, Tamara
