The disciples had fled. Mary kneeling in the shadow of the cross weeping and screaming in such anguish. Her Son hanging upon this tree in such torment. The thunder seemed muffled when compared to his heart-wrenching cry, "My God, My God why hast thou forsaken me?" Even his mother I am sure deep within her was screaming the words, "Why would you allow this?" Her heart was bleeding under the dark shadows of this cruel Roman cross. Her soul was in a place of the darkest night!
However, she could not see that Sunday was coming and resurrection was on the way. She could not see Jesus, our mighty warrior snatching the keys of death and hell right from the clutches of satan. As far as she could see, everything was dying. Her promise was dying!
As you hit bottom, you hear the tormenting voice of the enemy say, "Your life is almost over and you have nothing! Where is your God at now?" As you walk through the hot fires of your own Golgotha, he is working gold in the very depths of your being. He is placing a new fire in you that cannot be quenched! In the midst of your pain when it seems no one is there, Jesus holds you!
I hear the words "Explosion of glory" in my spirit. I declare your promises to be resurrected greater than you imagine. For out of a great death comes great life! Your promise is not dying! He is going to shatter every expectation you have with his goodness springing forth a harvest of righteousness and peace.
1 Corinthians 15:55-56 “O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?” 56The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; 57but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
