Your Best Friend

When the world has turned its back on you, Jesus is there. When your best friend has let you down, Jesus is there. When all of your companions have left you behind, you are not alone, because Jesus is there. When you are disappointed, He will sit right there with you. Jesus gave His life for us and greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends (John 15:13).
He is the One that will always be there for you. He is the One that you can always count on. He is the One that will never let you down. His mood stays the same, and He will not love you one minute and despise you the next. You can always trust Him because He is faithful and eternal.
Jesus thoroughly understands what we go through in our lives. He lived His life on earth as a human. He worked, ate, drank, laughed and wept. He was betrayed by a friend and another denied knowing Him at all. He knew bad people that would do anything but tell the truth. He was tempted in all points like we are, yet without sin (Hebrews 4:15).
Jesus is a Friend that sticks closer than a brother. Don't ever give His place to someone else in your life because it will end in disappointment. He is truly the best Friend that you will ever have.
Prayer: Jesus, I thank You for laying down Your life for me. I pray that You will grow stronger and stronger in my life. I want to know You more, and I choose You today!
