Every man who strives in the games exercises self-control in all things. Now they do it to receive a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible. I therefore run like that, not aimlessly. I fight like that, not beating the air, but I beat my body and bring it into submission, lest by any means, after...

Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your desire with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle...

They heard Yahweh God's voice walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of Yahweh God among the trees of the garden. Yahweh God called to the man, and said to him, "Where are you?" The man said, "I heard your voice in the garden, and I wa...

One In A Million

  • God looks down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there are any who understood, who seek after God. Psalms 53:2 WEB

When the Lord began speaking to me with His gentle promptings, I became amazed at how well that He knew me. I was a computer technician, and He often spoke to me in technical terms and lingo that others would not even understand. An entire sermon would just download into my spirit at once.

He would show me things like how demons were a lot like spyware. Once you had one installed, it would start to download others (Matthew 12:45). It will tie your system up doing 'other' tasks instead of the things that it should be doing. Like spyware, it will hide itself deep down in the system and try to avoid detection or removal. Sometimes, it will leave the host or computer in a broken mess. Once it is removed, if proper precautions are not taken, it will come right back (Luke 11:24).

It is amazing how many people are in the world, yet God knows each one of us just like that, and He speaks to us in a way that we understand. Whether you know Him or not is irrelevant. He knows all about you, and He will prove this if given the chance. He knows your heart, your real motives, and He will not waste time entertaining those who are not serious.

God will pass over a million people to get to the one who is seriously seeking Him. We are all individuals, and we do not need to be like anyone else for God to adore us. We can just be ourselves. It is not about praying a lot of words. Often in His presence, you don't have to say a thing.

Today, know that God looks on your heart (1 Samuel 16:7). He knows where you are, and why you act the way that you do at times. He understands you, because He created you. You are His child. Make room in your day to spend a little time with the Lord. Rest in His presence. One in a million will pay the price and actually seek His face, instead of His hand. Become one of them.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I choose to seek You today, please don't pass me by. Refresh me with Your spirit and give me a clear vision for my life. Lead me into divine encounters and let me be a witness of Your power on the earth, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

Note: Our weekly RHM Live church service will be happening this morning at 10am EST. Join us for a time of worship, interactive prayer, and fellowship, and to hear what has been happening recently in our lives. To participate in the chatroom you need to have a site account, but if not, you can still watch the video of the study. Service starts at 10am EST, but all are encouraged to show up 15 minutes early for fellowship, and to make sure the stream is working for you before we start. Love you all! Oh Lord God, it is overwhelming for me to be able to call You Father, but not just Father, but Heavenly Father! You are the Lord God Almighty who created all things, You knew me even before I was born! You loved me so much that You gave me an earthly father who provided for me, protected me and loved me! You loved me so much that You gave Yourself for me, but not just for me, but for all my loved ones far and near, and the rest of the world around me! It was "Your Arm" that brought salvation unto us, all of us, as the Prophet Isaiah reminds us! I want to make you proud of me just as I wanted and still want my Dad to be proud of me, and I want to please You, my Lord, with all my actions and my words, with the help of Your Mighty Holy Spirit! Amen!
