He Understands

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; His understanding is unsearchable. Isaiah 40:28 ESV
Tired and in a bad mood, we arrived home. We had worked at the church all day once again, and a new tax bill came while we were gone. We now owed five hundred dollars for additional taxes. Angrily I said, "If we had spent the time working in our business that we spent working at the church over the last month, we would have the money to pay this."
When we went to church that Sunday, one of the elders handed me an envelope and said that the church felt that they should pay us something for all the work that we had been doing recently. I knew before I opened it what was inside, it was a check for five hundred dollars. Without us mentioning the tax bill, God had told them the amount to give us and when we needed it.
God understands. He knows what you are going through. The temper tantrums that we throw don't even matter. He knows what you feel inside and why you act the way that you do. Don't give up when you stumble, get up.

I was praying about this just last night! I volunteered to work the holiday at my job becaause I desperately needed the money, but was grumbley because I was not feeling well and had so much at home I needed to do. I was apologising to the Lord for my attitude. It's been frustrating lately to be working hard and doing well at my job, but not making enough to support myself and clear up debts like my student loans. I'm grateful for the job, don't get me wrong, it's just frustrating to not be making enough.
Lord, I lift up Mary Pat to you and pray that you please guide her clearly in all that You would have her do, especially in regard to her job. Please close all doors that are not of You, and help her to find a position that will use the gifts and temperament that You have given her, that will provide for her financial needs, and will let her be a blessing to those around her, in the name of Jesus, amen <3!

I get these posts in my email and they are a blessing. More than once they correspond exactly, and I mean exactly, what I was thinking the day before about a particular situation or what I had asked Our Lord about certain circumstances. As I have been going through a difficult time. This post was one of them. It's funny how that happens, but it does. Thank you for working for the Lord, and keep being faithful. Please pray for me too.

Oh my....was this ever me this weekend! Thank God he does because I know sometimes my family around me do not understand and they just shake their head but my God understands and even though he may be shaking his head he still forgives me when I say Lord I've acted up, I've acted out, forgive me.
