I have a testimony I occasionally share where the Lord gave me a horrible job in a brass polishing plant. I started out sweeping the floor earning around the minimum wage in a drug-filled environment. Within a year, I was the manager. A mini-revival broke out, and everyone who worked there was saved. When I went to church, I brought an entire row of guests. The pastor loved me. I wouldn't have this testimony if I did not lose my previous job.
Unless a test comes, there is no testimony. Having a testimony, witness, and facts come from experiencing God's power in your life during hard times. These are the things you can stand on when the going gets tough. What you hear from others helps, but the things you have lived are your testimony and will help you and others in the times to come.
When you look back at what Jesus has already brought you through, you know He will also get you through this. Just as David killed the lion and the bear and was now ready for Goliath, the Lord will turn your test into a testimony. The things you currently suffer will work out for good in due time.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I know that You are with me and will bring me through whatever I face today. I pray that You have Your way in my life and draw my heart to You. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!

Amen i received 2 promotions in less than 30 days i went from the lowest paid at my site to the highest paid .. praise God!!!! Now i just need him to work on my car issues 😆

Another timely devotional. I keep saying the Lord has always taken care of me, which has built trust that He will take care of me in the future taking me through the "tests". There have been times in my life when I thought the worst was happening but it turned out that going through that brought me to a much, much better place.

sounds great. I know that will be useful for me...need to write that down. Hope the Todd family have a blessed Saturday and Sunday. I do believe God gave us those 2 special days for His sake and our sake! Work hard or volunteer (myself) hard through the week. We get our rewards here on Earth and rewards in Heaven.
