At the same time my understanding returned to me; and for the glory of my kingdom, my majesty and brightness returned to me. My counselors and my lords sought me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent greatness was added to me. Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven; for all his works are truth, and his ways justice; and those who walk in pride he is able to abase. Daniel 4:36-37 WEB.
Nebuchadnezzar was a great king that ruled over most of the known world during his life. He had conquered many nations. He had great dreams, and he built huge palaces. Then he became very prideful over all that he had accomplished. The Lord warned him about it in a dream, and the prophet Daniel interpreted it for him. Yet, Nebuchadnezzar refused to listen or correct his course. So at the height of his power, it was all suddenly taken away from him.
Nebuchadnezzar lost his mind and wandered about the fields eating grass like an ox. His hair grew as long as eagle feathers. His fingernails became like bird claws. After seven years of this, he lifted his eyes to heaven, and his mind was restored, and then his kingdom. Though Nebuchadnezzar had allowed pride to mess up his life, when he humbled himself before God, he was restored, and he became even greater than before.
There was a time in my life where I was pretty sure that I had wrecked the plans that God had for me. Yet, He is a God of restoration. The Lord can take the broken pieces of your life and make them into something beautiful. It's not too late. Though we can't change what happened yesterday, we can choose our actions today. That will begin to shape our future.
If you've ever had a dream shattered, know that God can restore it. He can help you put it back together. It's not gone, just delayed while we get a bit more polished and able to handle what He is giving us. The Lord's delay doesn't mean His denial. The longer the wait, the greater the blessing that comes.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, please give me new hope and a fresh vision. Restore the dream that You have for me, and make it a reality. Lead me into new things, and help me balance my attitudes during this time. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!

Site update #586: I completed a large update to the Audio Library on the left sidebar. There is now a live service archive of all past services, full-length in case you miss a service and want to catch up, as well as all of our original music. You can download the .mp3 files directly to your device now to listen when you don't have internet. I also added a pop-out player so you can listen without remaining on the page. Give it a try and let me know if you have any problems. 😀

What a blessing, Pastor Dion! The audio library page is easy to navigate and I truly appreciate the pop-out player, as I have many tabs open during my computer sessions and this allows me to keep the music flowing. Well done! 😊🎶

sounds great. I know that will be useful for me...need to write that down. Hope the Todd family have a blessed Saturday and Sunday. I do believe God gave us those 2 special days for His sake and our sake! Work hard or volunteer (myself) hard through the week. We get our rewards here on Earth and rewards in Heaven.
