Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. For with the same measure you measure it will be measured back to you. Luke 6:38 WEB
Once when they were taking an offering for a visiting speaker at our church, I gave $40 in the offering basket. Two weeks later, someone who was just an acquaintance, gave me $4,000. It was exactly a one-hundred fold return of what I had given in that offering. They said 'I just feel like I should help you buy another car.' In all honesty, it looked like I needed one. The one that I was driving had been pieced together from about ten other cars, and I was lucky to get to work at all. When I gave, God moved to fix that.
One Christmas I fixed up three computers from spare parts and gave them to three widows who did not have one. It was not much, but it was the best that I could do at the time as we a lot of computer parts, but no money. A few months later, a business owner that I knew, closed his business and gave us over $10,000 worth of new computers, servers, and equipment. It included things that I could only dream of buying. The ministry is still running on some of that equipment now.
I gave money and received money in return, but multiplied. I gave computers and received computers, increased in number and quality. Of course God can bless You in any way that He chooses, and: 'Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart' (Psalm 37:4) means just that. You will be happy with what you receive back.
The kingdom of God operates on the principle of 'Sowing and Reaping.' I grew up on a farm in the country, and any farmer will tell you that there is no harvest coming, unless you first plant the seed. There is first a planting season, and then later comes the harvest. If you don't plant seeds, then the only thing that grows are weeds.
Never underestimate the power of giving. Jesus said 'Give and it will be given to you.' First you give with a cheerful attitude, and then He sees that it is increased and given back to you. Give a special gift to someone that you would like to receive yourself. In time, an even better one will find its way to you. I received just what I gave, but better and multiplied.
Prayer: Heavenly Father I thank You today for all that You have blessed me with and pray that You give me wisdom and a clear vision of who I could bless as well. Help me be a blessing to others, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

Site update #586: I completed a large update to the Audio Library on the left sidebar. There is now a live service archive of all past services, full-length in case you miss a service and want to catch up, as well as all of our original music. You can download the .mp3 files directly to your device now to listen when you don't have internet. I also added a pop-out player so you can listen without remaining on the page. Give it a try and let me know if you have any problems. 😀

sounds great. I know that will be useful for me...need to write that down. Hope the Todd family have a blessed Saturday and Sunday. I do believe God gave us those 2 special days for His sake and our sake! Work hard or volunteer (myself) hard through the week. We get our rewards here on Earth and rewards in Heaven.
