I sought for a man among them, who should build up the wall, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found none. Ezekiel 22:30 WEB
When the Lord planned to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 18:24), Abraham stood in the gap and asked God if He would destroy it if there were fifty righteous men there. God said that He would not.
Then Abraham asked what if there were forty-five righteous people, forty, thirty, twenty, ten, and then he stopped. It appears that God would have kept going as long as He had someone to intercede for them. Abraham was the one that stopped at ten.
God seeks intercessors that will pray for the nation, and for each other. If you have someone who is lost, do not stop praying for them. Jesus told us 'No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day' (John 6:44). Pray for the Lord to draw their hearts to Him.
Remember also to pray for the nation that you live in. You live there, and if it prospers, you will prosper. 'Seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to Yahweh for it; for in the peace of it shall you have peace' (Jeremiah 29:7).
If you know the Lord today, chances are that someone has stood in the gap for you already. Now your prayer could be the one thing that changes everything for someone else. God is still seeking those who will stand in the gap for others.
Prayer: Heavenly Father I thank You for saving me, now please draw the rest of my family to You. May my whole family come to know and love you for all things are possible with You. Put the lost in my path and the words in my mouth, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

Site update #586: I completed a large update to the Audio Library on the left sidebar. There is now a live service archive of all past services, full-length in case you miss a service and want to catch up, as well as all of our original music. You can download the .mp3 files directly to your device now to listen when you don't have internet. I also added a pop-out player so you can listen without remaining on the page. Give it a try and let me know if you have any problems. 😀

What a blessing, Pastor Dion! The audio library page is easy to navigate and I truly appreciate the pop-out player, as I have many tabs open during my computer sessions and this allows me to keep the music flowing. Well done! 😊🎶

sounds great. I know that will be useful for me...need to write that down. Hope the Todd family have a blessed Saturday and Sunday. I do believe God gave us those 2 special days for His sake and our sake! Work hard or volunteer (myself) hard through the week. We get our rewards here on Earth and rewards in Heaven.
