God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water. She went, filled the bottle with water, and gave the boy drink. Genesis 21:19 WEB
Hours went by while I struggled with a bug in the annoying computer program, until I finally gave up and walked out to get away from it for a bit. Why did this have to be so difficult, I thought. This should have been a ten minute job, but I have spent all day on it. All out of ideas, I sat down and prayed for a few minutes. Suddenly, I knew exactly what the problem was. In just a few minutes I had isolated the bug, fixed it and everything was fine.
My problem was not what I did not have, it was what I did not know. With God's people, this is always the case. It is not what you do not have, it is what you don't know. No amount of tools or resources will fix what you don't know. What makes it difficult is that we don't even know what we don't know.
God can bring you the answer and once you have it, you will no longer have the problem. Hagar and her son were thirsting to death in the desert, when God opened her eyes to see a hidden spring of water near her.
The Lord said: 'My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge' (Hosea 4:6). James wrote: 'But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him' (James 1:5).
God has came to my rescue so many times when I did not know what to do, when I just take the time to ask Him. Joshua and the Israelites became bound by a treaty with the enemy because they did not inquire of the Lord first (Joshua 9:14).
When you are tempted to say, 'if only I had'' get somewhere quiet, calm your mind, and pray that God will reveal what you may be missing. You already have more than you think, but so often we cannot see it until the Lord reveals it.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, please open my eyes to see the resources around me what You have already provided. I know in my heart that You are the answer, for all wisdom, knowledge and resources are under Your control. Please share them with me today, in the name of Jesus of Jesus Christ I pray.

Site update #586: I completed a large update to the Audio Library on the left sidebar. There is now a live service archive of all past services, full-length in case you miss a service and want to catch up, as well as all of our original music. You can download the .mp3 files directly to your device now to listen when you don't have internet. I also added a pop-out player so you can listen without remaining on the page. Give it a try and let me know if you have any problems. 😀

What a blessing, Pastor Dion! The audio library page is easy to navigate and I truly appreciate the pop-out player, as I have many tabs open during my computer sessions and this allows me to keep the music flowing. Well done! 😊🎶

sounds great. I know that will be useful for me...need to write that down. Hope the Todd family have a blessed Saturday and Sunday. I do believe God gave us those 2 special days for His sake and our sake! Work hard or volunteer (myself) hard through the week. We get our rewards here on Earth and rewards in Heaven.
