Finding Your Purpose: Part 5

  • Finding Your Purpose: Part 5 from Jim Jarrell on Vimeo.

Hello everyone, my name is Jim Jarrell and this is Finding Your Purpose.

In this series of videos, I have quoted Luke 8:38-39 which said; But the man from whom the demons had gone out was begging Him that he might accompany Him; but He sent him away, saying, return to your house and describe what great things God has done for you. So he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him.I am going to use this scripture many times as I find it explains what our purpose is. I understand God was very slowly leading me into the supernatural His way. I suppose that is why I can say I am not afraid of the supernatural.

In my third video in this series, I explained how Neal Richard had called me on the phone, and told me what I was thinking. He followed that by saying God wanted us to come to his church. After visiting his church and all that happened that first day, we were there most of the time. We attended the Sunday morning service, and then went back on Sunday evening. On Tuesday evening they had a prayer meeting, and on Wednesday evening they had a service. I do not think I missed a service for 5 years.

One Sunday morning the pastor said someone’s hands were going to get warm here this morning, and then he went on preaching. It must have been fifteen minutes later, it felt like someone pulled the skin off of my hands and put burning coals under the skin. I raised my hand and said pastor, you must have been talking about me when you said about someone’s hands getting hot. The pastor stopped talking and asked me to come to the front. He called a man from the back whom I had never seen before. The pastor had him sit in a chair, and explained this man has lung cancer. He has been given two weeks to live by his doctor, but God was going to use Jim to heal him. I had become used to this by now, but I did not know what God had in store that morning.

I had not been given a prayer language when I received the Baptism in The Holy Spirit. Most did not understand this, but I have always known that God has His own way of doing things. I laid my hands on this man’s head and started praying for him in English because it was all that I knew to do. As I was praying for his healing, I suddenly found myself praying in this strange new language which I had never learned. This went on for a few minutes and the man started coughing. I saw with my own eyes this black cloud come from his mouth, and after it happened, the language stopped as quickly as it had started. I knew that something supernatural had happened, but I really did not understand what. After that happened, he went to the back and I did not see him any longer.

A couple of weeks later, I asked the pastor what had happened to the man I had prayed for. He went on to tell me the man returned to his doctor only to find there was no trace of lung cancer any longer. No one will ever be able to tell me that God can not heal in this day, I have experienced it myself in so many ways. When I tell you God can lead you into the supernatural, only He can do it right. I thank you for your time, I will see you again!
