Jesus told his disciples to go and loose a colt and bring him. He told them to expect opposition for as we all know the devil never surrenders without a fight. He also gave them a reason in the instance they were asked why. It was simply that the Master needed him. The point is: When the master commands you to be loosed, nothing can hold you, no devil is big enough to keep you bound.
We have all heard some of these quotes said so many times. "God doesn’t need me, but I sure need him.God can make it without me, but I sure can’t make it without him. I am nothing or God is all powerful, but I’m weak and helpless, and powerless." Sure it may sound spiritual and humble, but it is like placing God on a throne surrounded by angels and us way down here on earth barely getting by, with one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel, just hoping to get a touch every now and then just to make it over the next mountain. My bible tells me that my body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. My bible tells me that God dwells in me. He doesn’t just call me up, or text me or e-mail me, (he doesn’t just drop by to visit every now and then, but he is a permanent resident). He walks through my feet. He touches through my hands. He speaks through my lips. When I show up, God shows up. When I get there, God is there. For, behold, the Kingdom of God is within us.
One of Satan's greatest weapons against the believer is to make them feel unnecessary, invaluable, and inadequate. Jesus said you are the light of the world and the salt of this earth. The power he walked and operated in resides in you. You did not receive a baby Holy Ghost with little power, but rest assured you received a full grown Holy Ghost with all power. Just as Peter and John said to the lame man, "Look on us" for they knew who was within them. They said: We don’t have any silver or gold, but we have something that can heal you, deliver you and change your life, and we have been authorized and empowered to give it to you. And what we have we give to you (In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth) rise up and walk. You have that same Authority, you have that same anointing in you and on you, you have that same power.
Let me tell each of you something right now. God and you are awesome. God and you are unstoppable. God and you are a threat to hell. God and you can do the impossible. You are coming out of the darkness where you felt you were not good enough and realizing you are valuable and vital to the King. Every pit, every yoke, every bondage, every addiction is broken right now. You are needed!
