When he came down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him. Behold, a leper came to him and worshiped him, saying, "Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean." Jesus stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying, "I want to. Be made clean." Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. Matthew 8...

Then the devil took him into the holy city. He set him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written, 'He will command his angels concerning you,' and, 'On their hands they will bear you up, so that you don't dash your foot against...

Will He Find Faith On Earth?

  • At Times ... the Prophets of God saw things so terrible, so horrific ... they were stupefied. They could not speak. No pleasant food would pass through their lips. No one could comfort them. Their soul was disquieted for many days. They knew what was to come. And they could already hear the cries of torment and despair.

And they knew that the People of God ... Would not listen - Could not listen. They knew anger. They understood fear. Not simply the fear that is present when one knows they must endure trouble ... but another kind of fear. One so dark and so full of hopelessness ... so that they could have wished they had known nothing and had not even been born.

When a Man knows ... and also understands that no one will listen - he is dumbfounded. He refuses to say more because the heart of God's People has become dull. And their ears are deaf by choice.

The People have become bold and they shout out that no harm will befall them. But their peace and confidence will soon flee. They are oblivious to the danger and continue to dance in the streets. They are all drunk with New Wine.

And their enemy has been diligent and watchful. And he has set a snare. They are perfectly positioned. Few, if any, will escape.

And yet ... there IS hope ... only because God has sworn an oath, by His own Name. Even on that Day He is faithful and true and sounds the clarion call ... demanding that His People Come Out From Among Them.

I doubt that Americans 'realize' the good that has come to this country, from its' inception, that is directly related to its' Peace & Prosperity ... and which has come because of the Gospel of Jesus and by way of having Faith in God.

And it is because of this very thing ... that we have enjoyed the Freedoms afforded to a God-fearing Nation.

But I fear this umbrella which has covered us so securely and which has defined us as a Free Nation for several centuries, is breaking apart. We have successfully been infiltrated by certain 'elements' which have as their core desire ... the undoing of all that has made this Nation ... Great. And yet in some measure ... there was always a bit of this element - among us and ... within us.

We have eventually allowed opposing factions into the heart of our government which weakens the very resolves that have so favorably defined us. And even now ... we have come very close to a dangerous precipice without realizing the swallowing depths that await our demise.

A thousand times over God has pleaded with us to repent and turn again and to seek His Face. But we have no lasting interest in Him, His Will, His Purpose ... Our pleasure stands before us beckoning us to walk and to seek another path.

Churches that 'tickle ears' are full to overflowing. And those that still genuinely Call Upon God ... can barely 'keep the lights on'. But Faith is not defined by how much one has ... Faith is defined by a heart and mind that dies daily. It is unselfish and does not seek to please itself.

Unless we turn back to God and seek Him again we will be faced with our own demise and a very rude awakening.

When Jesus returns (Luke 18:8) ... Will He find Faith on the Earth?
