But you, when you pray, enter into your inner chamber, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. In praying, don't use vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speakin...

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree," that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:13'14 WEB....

Immediately there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, and he cried out, saying, "Ha! What do we have to do with you, Jesus, you Nazarene? Have you come to destroy us? I know you who you are: the Holy One of God!" Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Be quiet, and come out of him!" The unclea...

Walking Towards Maturity In Christ

  • Now that you are a child of God realize that you still have issues and weaknesses but as the Lord takes you progressively through the process of spiritual growth God will cause you by His indwelling Spirit to outgrow every weakness. Stop focusing on your faults and your shortcomings and your failures. Simply keep focusing on Him and all those things that you struggle with will drop to the ground like dead leafs when their time comes. Understand therefore the MERCY and the GRACE of God.

His mercy means that He doesn't give you what your sins deserve because the judgment fell upon His Son when He hung upon the cross.

His grace means that now that He covered you with His mercy God will give you what you don't deserve because everything we receive from the Lord is because of the blood of Jesus. He will cause the same grace that saved you to also transform and change you. Through His grace, God will heal you and restore you and raise you up to become a functioning heir within His kingdom as you pursue Him through a personal relationship.

    Romans 5

1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Now simply get to know Him by spending time with God and by studying His word and let Him water the seed of your life towards maturity through the season of babyhood through into childhood and eventually into the manifest maturity of sonship where you walk like Jesus walked in the power and the grace of the Holy Spirit. Constantly being aware of the fact that He loves you and has accepted you into His family as one of His beloved children.

Remember that a child grows through different stages into eventual maturity so be patient with yourself even as God is patient with you. Don't expect or look for the fruit of maturity out of season. Remember the journey of a fruit tree. The whole journey starts at the seed stage when the tree is planted. Then the farmer patiently waters it and nurtures it until the season arrives for the tree to produce fruit.

He reveals progressively to us as we grow through the different seasons of this spiritual journey that through the gospel of His Son He has provided everything we need even down to the finest detail to become strong beautiful mature children of the Father. Then when we are at age He places us in a position of responsibility in the family kingdom as a functioning heir. Nobody can escape the journey towards maturity and the training process because God is a wise and a responsible Father.

The key to personal success within the Father's household is to nurture and pursue an intimate relationship with God because EVERYTHING ABOUT OUR DESTINY IS REVEALED AND DEVELOPS OUT OF A PLACE OF INTIMACY. He is the God who holds your future and He declares the end from the beginning so rest in His all-sufficiency.

2 Peter 1:3 According as His divine power has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who has called us to glory and virtue: 4 By which are given unto us exceedingly great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And for this reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge self control; and to self control patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that you shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Pastor Marty Pena Sylvia my precious sister, as long as we are in this journey on earth we are in need of HIS Grace every second of the day as we draw closer in intimacy with HIM. The lower we surrender the Higher the Intimacy. We will never fully mature here on earth but we do mature more and more like HIM daily, for those that diligently seek HIM! I too am beyond thankful for Abba's Mercy and HIS neverending Grace. Wisdom comes from HIM, again it is in the surrendering, then we find HIM the more we Seek HIM! Busy day but thank God it is Friday and Shabbat is upon us! Love you!! Blessings mixed with many hugs sent your way!! Shalom precious lady and my friend!!
