Loving yourself and loving others is the only path to everlasting freedom.
Love is the creator's hallmark, to immerse ourselves in love, is to automatically emulate Jesus.
Christianity has reduced the profound message of Jesus to mere "belief in Jesus for salvation" clause.
Then religion claims the gospel is being watered down if the belief is diverted.
The truth of the matter is that believing in Jesus does nothing to me, past, present or future.
It's not a spell I can repeat and produce a spiritual outcome.
I can believe in Jesus and be a horrendous person, making everyone's life a living hell around me.
Don't believe me? Think Adolf Hitler.
Jesus didn't come to offer us eternal life.
He came to change our thinking about ourselves, others and the Father. He did this knowing that if we were to realize our true value and identity in God, it would forever change us from the inside out.
Jesus didn't come to save us from our sins.
He came to demonstrate God's total love and connection in humanity. He did this by yielding and submitting to our violence, thereby showing not even killing Jesus could separate us from the love and forgiveness of the Father.
It revealed even sin is powerless and irrelevant in the presence of love.
The lie of Religion is that our focus should be about our clueless and ignorance of the afterlife.
However, we desire salvation, we don't have to wait.
If we truly believe in Jesus, then we need to start looking at who he really was.
Jesus was a Mystic totally immersed in oneness with God. God's love in him spilled out and overflowed to everyone in his presence.
Jesus was the walking presence of God, he poured out love naturally. Everyone around him knew they were in the presence of something different, something greater than they had ever known.
It was from this presence that Jesus spoke. His words tasted like honey and smelled like roses because they flowed in love and life.
We can start saving others right now - by loving them.
But first we need to be saved here and now.
I'm sad to observe very few Christians are truly saved. Very few are born again.
We have nothing to offer others but a feeble promise of an eternal afterlife.
Religion has taught us how to feast on codependency of the church, but we are still wretched, blind and self-conscious of our carnal nakedness.
We rely on the charismatic energy of a few, while we less confident of our own value and self-worth.
Truth be told, Jesus was and is everything we are.
Jesus revealed us, he revealed us in the Father.
We don't need to be saved in the future, we are already in the Father.
It is only in our present lives that we perish under the weight of rejection, condemnation, judgment, depression, misery, self-destruction and destruction of others.
This is the damnation that we need to be saved from.
Love is our Salvation, we have it - it's ours for believing
The Kingdom of God is within you, just as it was in Jesus.
Luke 17:20-21 Now having been questioned by the Pharisees as to when the kingdom of God was coming, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed; 21nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’ For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst.”
