Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act. Psa. 37:5 ESV
Once while we were researching some property, we found a tax lien against us for several thousand dollars that I knew we did not owe. After calling the Department of Revenue, they said that we had missed filing some business form and the penalties and taxes had built up on it for years. We had never received any notification about this form and were horrified. They could not give us details because the record had been archived and they would have to restore a backup of it that night, so we were told, 'Please check back tomorrow.'
My wife and I prayed about this together and felt like we heard 'Say nothing negative.'
This was one of the hardest things that I had ever done. Every fiber of my being wanted to scream: 'We do not owe this!' and I wanted to whine and complain so badly'but we didn't. Instead, we just did not talk about it at all for the 24 hours. We just had to trust God to handle this situation as it had grown into a mountain. The next day we called the D.O.R. back and found that it was an error. We never owed the bill, so the penalties and fees should not have been there anyway. The lady nicely removed the record, and the lien went away.
When mountains rise up in front of you and things begin to look impossible to resolve, trust in the Lord God. He is able to bring to pass the impossible. Nothing is impossible for Him. He can move a mountain.
Prayer: Father, please melt the mountains in my life. Cover me with your Spirit and protect me through this time, in the name of Jesus.
Note: Good morning! For those involved with the live services, this Sunday''s message will be "Where Did You Read That?", an illuminating teaching on separating God''s will from our will. The service will start at 11am EST, with the room opening about 15 mins before. To join, just go to the Watch page from the site menu on Sunday morning. Pastor Dion will deliver the message, usually with additional insights just for the live participants, and personally pray for any who need it. For those who can''t make it, the pre-recorded teaching will also be available later in the day! Thank you for all who have participated by joining in these live services, or by viewing and commenting on the message later - y''all encourage us more than you know!
Amen! Nice to know our God can and will move mountains for us :) Thank you! Pastor's Prayer: Father, please melt the mountains in my life. Cover me with your Spirit and protect me through this time, in the name of Jesus.

Is God not so awesome, I love the verse you used this morning, it just speaks to me!
My Abba Father Has moved so many mountains in my life. When ever something, "appeared to be" impossible, He showed me He is a God of miracles. There is nothing He can not do. We simply need to go to Him and be constant in prayer and then let Him reveal to us whether we are to do something, or whether we are to relinquish everything to Him. When in doubt , do not proceed is what I have found. The gift of discernment comes with the ability to seek His will. If He is silent about my doing something, I take that as a NO. If I have no dobt about proceeding than I know it is of Him. Whether He encourages me to move or be still, I find when I obey, the mountains move.
Amen!

Amen when things seem impossible with man all things are possible with God. God can move any mountain in our lives if we just trust. I know some times when the mountain looks very big we started to fret and worry so much that we have a loving Father that we can run to. Thanks pastor for this devotion
The LORD GOD says Be still and know that I am GOD. Yes HE moves and melt the mountain in our lives. Pray always and release your prayer and let GOD take over and take in charge of it. In the name of JESUS CHRIST Amen

How hard it is to hold your tongue when something like this happens. You want to rant and rave and protest !! But getting angry doesn't help. Staying calm and quiet was the right thing to do. Thank you Pastor Dion for this clear message. I pray our Father will melt the mountains in my life, cover me with His spirit and protect me through this time. Amen.
I like Janet Marsh always have the urge to lash out and protest against something that I know is wrong or for someone that has been wronged. I want to make things right. And so you can see as things unfold in this nation I am always shaking my head and mumbling. But as of lately I realize that there is nothing I'm going to do physically or verbally that's going to change anything for the better. All I can do is pray for the Father's will to be done and protect those around me from all spiritual and physical harm. On another note, Sundays message looks like it's for me. I can't miss it. Love ya all, God Bless.
Amen. Praise God! Thanks Pastor Dion! Father, please melt the mountains in my life. Cover me with your Spirit and protect me through this time, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
