It is so refreshing to see people who are truly in love. When a person first falls in love, they see nothing but the good in the other person. How beautiful, how perfect, oh how smart they are. If someone tries to warn them about how bad this person really is, they completely ignore it. "You are wrong! That is impossible!" They may even hit you...

God loves you this way all the time. He doesn't see all of your faults and shortcomings, for the blood of Jesus Christ covers them. He sees the good inside of you. If someone tried to tell Him how messed up you really are, He would ignore it, for He gave His only begotten Son to take away your sin. Jesus washed your sin away with His own blood.

Paul wrote: "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:38–39).

If you turn your back and walk away, He would be heartbroken, but He loves you enough to let you go free, for we have the freedom of choice. You may be a beautiful mess to the Lord, but He loves you from head to toe, and nothing that you do is ever going to change that.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for loving me just as I am. Now I choose to love You back. Please walk with me, talk with me, and help me get to know You better today. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!
