When Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed. When he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses' hands were heavy; so they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side. His hands were steady until sunset. Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword. It's easy to pray when things are going well in your life, but when things get so bad that you go into survival mode, you need others to pray for you. There are times when you can't walk alone, and it's you in need of prayer.
I have lived through times when I needed to pray more than anything but no longer had the words, energy, faith, willpower, or hope to pray. I was spiritually exhausted and began to sink into dark despair, but my friends at church prayed for me constantly, and things in my life began to change. Their prayers for me were answered.
Today, if you are walking alone while your world seems to be crumbling around you, then share it with other believers and get them to pray with you. It works. If you have no one like that, then you need to find a group of believers who will.
If possible, visit the nearest church and speak to the pastor. If you can't do that, join us at Refreshing Hope and post your prayer request. We will pray with you. Even if your life is great, be sure to walk with other believers who will stand with you through the bad times. Like Moses, you sometimes need others to hold your hand.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I pray that You put the people in my life that should be there. Separate me from bad influences and replace them with good ones. Please stir my heart to pray for those around me and surround me with those who will pray for me. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!

This word is amazing. I am in that place right now. I am exhausted, tired, and worn out over my son. I have 2 pastors at my church. Last night one got on either side of me and held up my arms as they prayed for me and my son and his situation. This is a confirmation that God is moving in my situation with my son. This was the exact scripture reference they made last night.
