Looking back over old journals, I can see things the Lord told me twenty-five years ago coming to pass. Forgotten things I had put on the shelf, I am now living. A few times, I was convinced I had ruined His plans for me. I went through a divorce. I had seasons of temper tantrums and bad attitudes. I was always happy to have His blessings, but I was too quick to pout if things didn't go my way.
Yes, looking back, I am half ashamed of my love walk. I behaved like an impetuous child. Yet, I am still here, and God is faithful. Through all of my mistakes, even times when I knew it was wrong but did it anyway, God has been steady, unchanging, and faithful. When I began to feel alone, it was always me who had wandered off again. He was always there when I would fall on the carpet and return in prayer.
Hang on to God. The things that the Lord has promised you in your heart will come to pass. When you fall, just get up and try it again. God understands. He loves you, and He has a plan for your life. So don't throw in the towel yet, and don't give up on Him. Though you can't see when it's coming and may have forgotten, it will still arrive at the proper time. He will faithfully complete the work that He has begun in you.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, please complete your work in me and mold me into Your likeness. Change my desires, and help me take on the mind of Christ. May my entire family come to know You more deeply. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!

Amen Pastor. Father God help me to seek your will and change my desires to be what you want for me. Watch over my wife and touch her heart and show her how this divorce is all wrong. You promised me id have forever with her. The divorce is signed yet so im staying faithful to your word. Show me your will in my life Father. Bless us all and ty for Pastor Dion. I thank you Lord for this ministry and reminding of how far I've come with you in my life when I had no spiritual life with you. My testimony alone would take awhile....I mean a long while.

Thank you Rev. Dion for this devotional as it is truly inspiring and I too believe that Our Father in Heaven is ALWAYS there guiding us even though we may not understand why He is taking so long, in the end, His way is ALWAYS the best way and nothing and no one can EVER CHANGE THAT!!
