Pharaoh said to Joseph, "Because God has shown you all of this, there is no one so discreet and wise as you. You shall be over my house. All my people will be ruled according to your word. As Joseph was standing before Pharaoh, he had to wonder if it was a dream. A few hours ago, he had been a slave in prison. Joseph had refused to sleep with Potiphar's wife, so she accused him of trying to rape her and had him thrown in jail. Now, suddenly Joseph was promoted to be the second-in-command of the nation. He ruled over all of Egypt, and I bet Potiphar's wife had high anxiety.

This was a God time. The Lord had spoken to Joseph in a dream when he was young and showed him that he would be a ruler one day. At first, it made Joseph a little prideful, and he told his brothers about it, but they did not appreciate it. They sold Joseph into slavery and, in doing so, started him on the road to his destiny.

Once, after being laid off from my supervisor position, I had to take another job at minimum wage. I worked at a plant polishing brass, sweeping the floor, and driving a forklift. I needed to make the house payment somehow, so I just made the best of it. I prayed and listened to the Bible all day. Then one day, the manager there got fired. The business owners came down to appoint another and made me the manager. They passed over a dozen to pick me. It was a God time.

Sometimes the Lord will show you such divine favor that there is nothing else like it. It can seem like a dream, and you have to pinch yourself to see if it's real. "Can this really be happening? This is too good to be true!" There is no good time that can compare with a God time.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, please bring the God times to my life. Let your presence fill my day. I want more of You! Stir me, strengthen me, and put me where I need to be. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!
