Forever
By: Dion Todd   Revision: 3   Timing: 4/4  Tempo: 112

One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple. (Psalm 27:4) (NKJV)

Progression: Verse1, Chorus, Instrumental, Verse2, Chorus, End

Verse 1:
Lord I seek Your face today
And theres something I just gotta to say
Where You are, is where I want to be
Cause its the only place I’m truly free

I lose the fears and chains that bind me
In Your presence, they cease to be
You’re my Rock, my Light, and Salvation
But Im feeling such a desperation

Chorus:
I want to dwell in Your house forever
And what I want is us to be together
To praise Your name, to ask You questions
Refresh my Spirit and get direction

To behold the beauty of the Lord
Sit by Your feet and just adore
To have Your smile beam down on me
Lord there’s no place I’d rather be

Verse 2:
In times of trouble, you’ll hide me
In Your secret place is where I’ll be
Though an army comes, I will not fear
Long as I know that You are near

When the wicked come, you’ll keep them outside
Under Your wings, is where I’ll abide
Nothing can touch me without Your permission
So point the way and I’ll hit the ignition

Foot Notes:

Inquire: “To ask for information from someone.”

Psalm 27:1–5 (NKJV) — 1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell. 3 Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident.

4 One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple. 5 For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.

Site update #586: I completed a large update to the Audio Library on the left sidebar. There is now a live service archive of all past services, full-length in case you miss a service and want to catch up, as well as all of our original music. You can download the .mp3 files directly to your device now to listen when you don't have internet. I also added a pop-out player so you can listen without remaining on the page. Give it a try and let me know if you have any problems. 😀

What a blessing, Pastor Dion! The audio library page is easy to navigate and I truly appreciate the pop-out player, as I have many tabs open during my computer sessions and this allows me to keep the music flowing. Well done! 😊🎶

sounds great. I know that will be useful for me...need to write that down. Hope the Todd family have a blessed Saturday and Sunday. I do believe God gave us those 2 special days for His sake and our sake! Work hard or volunteer (myself) hard through the week. We get our rewards here on Earth and rewards in Heaven.
