Jesus went with them. When he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying to him, "Lord, don't trouble yourself, for I am not worthy for you to come under my roof. Therefore I didn't even think myself worthy to come to you; but say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man placed under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one, 'Go!' and he goes; and to another, 'Come!' and he comes; and to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it." When Jesus heard these things, he marveled at him, and turned and said to the multitude who followed him, "I tell you, I have not found such great faith, no, not in Israel." Those who were sent, returning to the house, found that the servant who had been sick was well. Luke 6:10 WEB.
We once bought a colossal rack mount server on eBay and had to pay over a hundred dollars in shipping charges. It was a Dell Power Edge R900, weighing just over 92 pounds. To my disappointment, when I unpacked it and started it up, it immediately died with a processor failure message.
The computer had four quad-core Xeon processors, and it appeared that one was defective. I tried everything a technician would normally do during the day, like reseating the processors and memory banks and resetting the bios. Still, it continued to die with the same processor error each time.
I called the seller's tech support, and they walked me through a few things over the phone, but in the end, they decided we would need to ship it back to them. When I got off the phone, I sat down and stared at it in frustration. I was dreading sending the heavy thing back.
Something in me whispered, "pray," so I laid my hands on the computer and prayed over it for a moment. I pressed the start button again, and it booted up and ran perfectly. It's still in use today. Christians have their own power edge: praying in the name of Jesus Christ.
While Jesus was on the way to the Centurion's house, they brought Him word that He didn't have to come but just speak the word. That Centurion recognized the chain of command. He believed that if Jesus gave the order, his servant would be healed, just as if he told a soldier to do something, and they did it.
Faith is the complete trust or confidence in someone or something. Jesus was amazed at this Centurion's great faith. But in His hometown, He was amazed at their lack of faith (Mark 6:6). These are the only records of Jesus being amazed at something in scripture.
Faith is the currency of heaven. When you pray, believe it will come to pass. True faith builds over time, just like trust in a relationship. Remember today that our faith is built just as much in the workplace as in church, for our God is "super natural."
Prayer: Heavenly Father, please speak to me in a way that I understand and show Yourself mighty in my life. Let me be a beacon of hope to those around me and walk in Your power and anointing right here and now. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!
Note: “Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:12-13) ~ If you have a prayer need, we are here for you! Site update #586: I completed a large update to the Audio Library on the left sidebar. There is now a live service archive of all past services, full-length in case you miss a service and want to catch up, as well as all of our original music. You can download the .mp3 files directly to your device now to listen when you don't have internet. I also added a pop-out player so you can listen without remaining on the page. Give it a try and let me know if you have any problems. 😀

sounds great. I know that will be useful for me...need to write that down. Hope the Todd family have a blessed Saturday and Sunday. I do believe God gave us those 2 special days for His sake and our sake! Work hard or volunteer (myself) hard through the week. We get our rewards here on Earth and rewards in Heaven.
