You gave also your good Spirit to instruct them, and didn't withhold your manna from their mouth, and gave them water for their thirst. Yes, forty years you sustained them in the wilderness. They lacked nothing. Their clothes didn't grow old, and their feet didn't swell. Nehemiah 9:20-21 WEB.
When the Israelites came out of Egypt, the Lord gave them His Spirit to teach them. He provided them with food and water and sustained them in every way. For forty years, they lacked nothing. Their clothes did not wear out, and no diseases were found among them. That was amazing, but will God still do things like that today?
I had a dear friend who used the same disposable razor for decades because it never wore out. It was an unusual but practical gift from the Lord. Whenever the razor started to lose its edge, she would pray over it, and it would become like new again.
It was just a small gift God gave her because she took the time to ask Him. She prayed over her razor and continued to use it until she passed away twenty-three years later. Never once did it nick her. It was such a small thing, yet it deeply affected her life, for that confidence in the sustaining power of the Lord grew.
The mighty hand of God can sustain you. He can give you everything that you need in this life and in the life to come. He alone knows what tomorrow will bring, but we must believe He will be there with us. He will sustain us. His Spirit will teach us what we need to know, and sometimes the things we already have may just last longer.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I pray that You cause my resources to last longer and go farther. Please help me make the right decisions, teach me what I need to learn, and cover me with Your presence today. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!

Site update #586: I completed a large update to the Audio Library on the left sidebar. There is now a live service archive of all past services, full-length in case you miss a service and want to catch up, as well as all of our original music. You can download the .mp3 files directly to your device now to listen when you don't have internet. I also added a pop-out player so you can listen without remaining on the page. Give it a try and let me know if you have any problems. 😀
Amen and Amen, this I pray, and not only for myself, but for our entire family, my siblings, Dorothy; and Raven, a friend that Alexander is trying to witness to, whose grandfather had a heart attack, neither one being saved, and the list goes on, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen and Amen!!!
Yes, Heavenly Father, I pray that You cause my resources to last longer and go farther. Please help me make the right decisions in all that I do, teach me what I need to learn, guide me along the way that I need to go and cover me with Your presence today. and always In the name of Jesus Christ, I ask and pray. Amen!!!
God does supply all our needs. My daughter worked in Africa for a time on an orphanage base. On Sundays they would open the gates for any who were in need to eat. She told how the line would seem to go on forever and how their little pot of beans and loaves of bread never ran out.
