"Yahweh said to Gideon, By the three hundred men who lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into your hand; and let all the people go every man to his place. So the people took food in their hand, and their trumpets; and he sent all the men of Israel every man to his tent, but retained the three hundred men: and the camp of Midian was beneath him in the valley." Judges 7:7'8 WEB.
Facing an enemy army that couldn't even be counted, Gideon and his men walked down to the water. He had started this mission with 32,000 men, which was already too small a number. Then God told Gideon to send anyone fearful back home, and over two-thirds (22,000) of his army left (Judges 7:3).
Gideon had 10,000 men who stayed with him for the upcoming battle, but God told him that it was still too many. So Gideon took them down to the water, and God sorted them again. When Gideon came up from the water, he had 300 men left with him. God said they were all he needed to accomplish his mission, and they were.
Gideon had more than enough men with him, but he didn't realize it. Gideon was scared when he had 32,000 men in his army. Yet, he was victorious with only 300. It was enough. Jesus took a few fish and fed thousands of people (Matthew 15:38, Mark 6:44). Peter preached a sermon that caused 3,000 people to come to the Lord in one meeting (Acts 2:41).
Sometimes we have more than enough right in front of us, yet, we can't see it. We often learn that God has already provided what we need. We either don't know how to use it or let our fears cause us not to believe Him. Our limitation is always what we don't know instead of what we don't have. "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6).
Prayer: Heavenly Father, please help me see the things You have already placed in my life and teach me to use them properly. Lord, I know that You know best, and I submit to Your will for my life. Please teach me what I need to know. Guide me into all that You have for me. I am Yours. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!

Site update #586: I completed a large update to the Audio Library on the left sidebar. There is now a live service archive of all past services, full-length in case you miss a service and want to catch up, as well as all of our original music. You can download the .mp3 files directly to your device now to listen when you don't have internet. I also added a pop-out player so you can listen without remaining on the page. Give it a try and let me know if you have any problems. 😀

What a blessing, Pastor Dion! The audio library page is easy to navigate and I truly appreciate the pop-out player, as I have many tabs open during my computer sessions and this allows me to keep the music flowing. Well done! 😊🎶

sounds great. I know that will be useful for me...need to write that down. Hope the Todd family have a blessed Saturday and Sunday. I do believe God gave us those 2 special days for His sake and our sake! Work hard or volunteer (myself) hard through the week. We get our rewards here on Earth and rewards in Heaven.
