In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:5'8 WEB.
Think of a glass of water sitting on a dining table in a restaurant. One person may see the glass half full of water, while another sees it half empty. Yet, the glass contains the same amount of water, no matter which perspective you have.
When you listen to satan whisper his plan for your life, it will be a dark, twisted, distorted view'filled with doubt, lack, despair, loneliness, and the never-ending fear of what is coming. He whispers that the glass will continue to drain away until nothing is left. Then what will you do?
Jesus Christ also has a plan for your life, and you will find it full of hope, love, light, acceptance, and forgiveness. You can face the day knowing that whatever comes, God has got your back. If the glass runs out of water, the server can refill it.
You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13).
No weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me? (Hebrews 13:6).
From whose point of view are you looking at your life, and who have you been listening to? If you feel burdened down, like you are carrying the world on your shoulders, then it's the wrong voice. It's common today.
Life is busy, and too many things are often pulling at us from all directions. Don't let it get to you. You were never meant to be everything to everyone, all the time. You need to be you. They can all accept you or not. God does.
Paul wrote that we shouldn't be anxious about anything but pray with gratitude and make our requests known to God. For that is when the peace of God comes. Jesus said in Matthew 6:34 to not worry about tomorrow, for that will take care of itself. Paul learned to be content in whatever situation he found himself in (Philippians 4:11).
So don't get anxious, overwhelmed, and give up today. What is lost can be replaced. Things that were stolen can be recovered. Pray, and be thankful for what the Lord has already done for you. Remember the times that He has moved in your life. View your life through the eyes of Jesus Christ, who loved you so much that He endured the cross. God throws no one away.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me and find me, when you search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank you for bringing me this far. Please show me what I can do for You. Give me a clear vision, calm my mind, and give me more of Your peace. Help me change my ways and become more like You. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!

Site update #586: I completed a large update to the Audio Library on the left sidebar. There is now a live service archive of all past services, full-length in case you miss a service and want to catch up, as well as all of our original music. You can download the .mp3 files directly to your device now to listen when you don't have internet. I also added a pop-out player so you can listen without remaining on the page. Give it a try and let me know if you have any problems. 😀

What a blessing, Pastor Dion! The audio library page is easy to navigate and I truly appreciate the pop-out player, as I have many tabs open during my computer sessions and this allows me to keep the music flowing. Well done! 😊🎶

sounds great. I know that will be useful for me...need to write that down. Hope the Todd family have a blessed Saturday and Sunday. I do believe God gave us those 2 special days for His sake and our sake! Work hard or volunteer (myself) hard through the week. We get our rewards here on Earth and rewards in Heaven.
