For it is precept on precept, precept on precept; line on line, line on line; here a little, there a little. Isaiah 28:10 WEB.We had scattered pieces all over the table while we worked on assembling a jigsaw puzzle. It was a total mess. This one was mysteriously difficult, for someone had mistakenly...

God is my rock in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge. My savior, you save me from violence. 2 Samuel 22:3 WEB.David sang this the day the Lord delivered him from all his enemies. Where others saw nothing, David could see the work of the Lord thr...

In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are ...

The Secret Admirer

  • In God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can man do to me? Psalms 56:11 ESV

I walked down the aisle to the offering basket and dropped in my tithes for the week. Ten percent of almost nothing once again. It had been a few awful weeks in a row now and it was starting to show at home.

Later at home, I opened my Bible and there was an envelope inside. When I had gotten up to make my offering, someone had placed $250 in cash in my Bible! God had yet again taken care of me when I had not told a soul that I needed it. I still do not know who did it, but God does.

God was my secret admirer. He was my supporter. When things got bad and there was nowhere to turn, He was there. Silently, secretly, He took care of me. He told someone else that I needed help, someone that was able.

Put your trust in God and not men. My offering was only a few dollars, but if I had not gotten up to give it, I probably would not have received what God had for me that day. Do your part, no matter how small, and trust Him to do His.

Prayer: Father, I thank you for taking care of me. I know that you are my Secret Admirer and have my best interests at heart. Draw me, teach me and use me as you will Lord, in the name of Jesus.

Note: Good morning! For FAAD (Fight Against Anxiety & Depression) members, the topic of the week is "The Power of Saying ''''No''''". It is being led by one of our wonderful members, Jeff Smith! Anyone who has had trouble with people-pleasing, especially those with anxiety, should participate in this topic, and check out the accompanying chat! The topic can be found in the discussion area of the FAAD group page. The chat is listed under the events and will take place in the RHM chatroom on Thursday at 7pm EST!

Kath Paro
Kath Paro Dion~ This brings to mind one Saturday when we were cleaning at church with a group of others.  My husband and I were discussing our lack of funds to get new tires for our car.  Our Secret Admirer placed a $100 bill in my purse.  We called it another time of God doing for us what we could not do for ourself.  Praise the Lord!  Yesterday we struggled to get an investment that was another God gift to be released to me.  After much difficulty and stress, we prayed and amazingly  it all turned out! We have had a lot of Secret Admirerers cross our paths in this past year that we recognize.  I'm sure there have been more but I have truly given myself to Jesus our Savior in this last year.   Bless you for this message today.   Kathy Paro

Yada (Wendy)
Yada (Wendy) The Sampson story is beautifully mind bending. Growing up it was just presented to me as an example of why men should avoid worldly women.  She displays fully her intentions to betray him. Multiple times. The last time he practically handed her the scissors.  I think it's amazing how one can go their whole lives wondering what it's for and pass on not even understanding, but many more get to look back and see the prophecy God wrote with his life.  All pointing to His One. Devastatingly breathtaking in an amazingly fearful way. <3
