Ecstasy

It was a very busy morning and I had so much to do. I was under a lot pressure to fulfill the many commitments that I had made, and I was anxious to get the day underway. I had also told the Lord that I would start the morning with prayer time, but when under pressure, I wrestled with it. Did I really have time? Maybe tomorrow'

Finally I just went into my prayer room, sat on the floor, reclined against my bean bag, pulled a blanket over me, and began to pray. I said about one sentence before the presence of the Lord descended on me so strong that I began to weep. He spoke to me very clearly that morning. I came completely undone and just sit there weeping, overwhelmed with His presence for the next twenty minutes. Every fiber of my being felt loved. The enemy had to tried to rob me of that experience.

That time, when I was faced with the hectic day ahead, I chose to put Him first. He touched me and when I came out of my prayer room, the huge problems that I faced, now looked insignificant. I no longer even cared! The rest of my day was filled with His grace and peace.

Choose Him! Those that miss out on knowing the Lord Jesus and the presence of the Holy Spirit miss the greatest ecstasy on this earth. True ecstasy does not come in a pill. It comes from an intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Prayer: Heavenly Father I choose You today. Please lead me into all that You have in store for I am Yours. Speak to me in a way that I understand and let me experience Your presence here on the earth, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.
