I have said these things to you, while still living with you. But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you. John 14:25 WEB
When I rested my hand on the box, a light came on. When I moved my hand away, it went out. I examined the wires connected to the back of the hub and found that one of the network cables had a loose end. So I re-crimped the cable and the computer was back online within a minute.
Thirty minutes before, I had never seen a computer network and knew absolutely nothing about them. An insurance company had called me when one of their computers had lost connection with the others. I worked on computers then as a hobby at night, and they had gotten my number from a friend. This was in the early nineties and even computers were rare here, much less a network of them. I had never actually seen a networked computer before.
When they called, I started to tell them no, but they explained that the people who had originally installed the network were gone and they had no one else to call. I didn't want to go, but I felt the Holy Spirit say 'Go, and I will go with you' so I told them that I would come look at it. All the way there I fought back panic, and wondered what I was even doing, and why they had called me in the first place. I had never gone to school for computers. They were merely a hobby. I felt completely unqualified.
I prayed all the way there, met the manager, and we stood beside a filing cabinet while he explained what was happening. There was a box on top of it with a lot of flashing lights, that was the network hub. I rested my hand right on top the problem and within ten minutes it was fixed and they thought that I was a network guru. That office became my client for the next seventeen years. The Lord did things like that day after day in my life. If I would go, He would go with me.
The Holy Spirit will teach you 'all' things if you do not let fear hold you back. God is amazingly smart, and ahead of the cutting edge. He can give you the answers to the difficult problems and make you look like a genius in the process. Never neglect prayer. It is not just for spiritual purposes. 'But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him' (James 1:5).
When the Lord opens the door, pray and step through it. He will equip you for the job and if you step out in faith, you cannot fail. David stepped out against Goliath when no one else would because he did not let fear hold him back. We love to prepare and have it all planned out in advance, but the Holy Spirit will teach you all things, and He specializes in on-the-job training. 'Go and I will go with you.'
Prayer: Heavenly Father please set up divine encounters for me today and give me the wisdom to accomplish them. I love to see You work in my life and I yield myself to You. Use me, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

Site update #586: I completed a large update to the Audio Library on the left sidebar. There is now a live service archive of all past services, full-length in case you miss a service and want to catch up, as well as all of our original music. You can download the .mp3 files directly to your device now to listen when you don't have internet. I also added a pop-out player so you can listen without remaining on the page. Give it a try and let me know if you have any problems. 😀

What a blessing, Pastor Dion! The audio library page is easy to navigate and I truly appreciate the pop-out player, as I have many tabs open during my computer sessions and this allows me to keep the music flowing. Well done! 😊🎶

sounds great. I know that will be useful for me...need to write that down. Hope the Todd family have a blessed Saturday and Sunday. I do believe God gave us those 2 special days for His sake and our sake! Work hard or volunteer (myself) hard through the week. We get our rewards here on Earth and rewards in Heaven.
