Where could I go from your Spirit? Or where could I flee from your presence? If I ascend up into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there! If I take the wings of the dawn, And settle in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there your hand will lead me, And your right hand will hold me. Psalms 139:7 WEB
Before we were born, God was already there for us (Psa. 139:13). Though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, He is still there (Psa. 23:4). When you feel all alone, God, through the presence of the Holy Spirit, is always there (Heb. 13:5). When your soul mate has left you alone, He is the comforter and He holds the brokenhearted in His arms (Isa. 40:11). When they have told you that you have stage four cancer, He is the Healer there to comfort and restore you (Isa. 53:5).
When doors close and you are unemployed, He opens doors that no man can shut (Rev. 3:8). When the bad news comes, He is able to make all things work together for good (Rom. 8:28). Things that are impossible with man, become possible with God (Luke 18:27).
When they lock you away and throw away the key, He is with you in the prison cell (Gen. 39:23). When you know it to be wrong, but find yourself enslaved and doing it anyway, He understands and is there to help you (1 Cor. 10:13). When you are laying on your death bed and about to take your last breath, He is there to take you by the hand and guide you to heaven (2 Cor. 5:1). He is with us from the start, until the finish.
You will never be out of His reach and He will never give up on you. No matter how much you stumble, get up and try it again. He loves you not because you are good, but because He is good. Don't wait until some point in the future to start getting to know God. He is with you right now and when you ignore Him, it is you that is missing out.
Prayer: Father, I choose You! Thank You so much for being there for me. Guide me into all that You have for me for I am Yours. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray.
