Yahweh opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, "What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?" Balaam said to the donkey, "Because you have mocked me, I wish there were a sword in my hand, for now I would have killed you." The donkey said to Balaam, "Am I not yo...

Now the king of Syria had commanded the captains of his chariots, saying, "Don't fight with small nor great, except only with the king of Israel." Super Natural Provision

  • Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' Matthew 6:28-31 WEB.

I grew up in the country, rambling through the woods and looking for adventure. There was an old oak tree that covered a small stream near our house. It was hidden deep in the woods and had dense shade and running water, so it became my summer camp one year.

The tree had the names of people I knew carved in it and some from past generations who had made it a camp before me. When I was small, it was already a giant tree, and it's probably over two hundred years old now. Over the years, it has continued to grow, and it is majestic. I loved that tree and the cool shade it provided.

Trees like that are amazing. Their roots grow down into the soil and draw up water and minerals that are unseen to us. Their sustenance is invisible to us and provided so naturally we don't even notice. In fact, it's a "super-natural" provision. It happens naturally and gradually as they need it.

God provides everything they need to grow. Before we were born, the trees were already there and doing well. They live their whole life unable to walk or to provide anything for themselves. They couldn't move a single step if their life depended on it. Yet, God provides their every need right where they are, for He puts what they need within their reach.

God will provide for you the same way. No one can cut you off because they can't control where your supply is coming from. The check you receive is not your only means of survival. God provides for all of creation, and He will provide for you when you put your trust in Him.

Don't look to the signer of a paycheck as your savior. When it fails, God can raise up another source to provide for your needs. Relax, He takes care of the mighty forests as well as the little sparrows, and He is certainly able to provide for you. Pray, make your needs known, and then trust God for provision (Philippians 4:6). Don't be so anxious about what may come tomorrow, for that oak tree is doing well.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for taking care of me. It has been quite a journey, but I am still here. Today I put my trust in You. I choose You as my provider. Philippians 4:6 tells us to make our requests known to You, though You know them already. So here are my needs. (List your needs). Thank You so much. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!

Everything should be natural in our life.  My middle daugther was born via natural childbirth.  I have done so many things to my hair (cut, color, short, long, curly), but now it has turned naturally gray.  I washed it yesterday morning, and it dried naturally instead of with a blow dryer.

Natural and simple, I thank God for giving me these gifts.  I have learned to follow Him in a special way!  Here is a list of special needs in my life:

1.  I need to see 1 or 2 of my daughters...3 would be better since that is how many I have.

2.  I would like to find a new home.  This one is too big, too many people, not enough Christianity.   I get weary here.  Glad I don't worry.

3.  I would like to see my siblings.

4. I would like to go do other things besides church on Sunday morning..more church throughout the week or the library or a nursing hoime or the lake for a picnic.

5.  I would like my situational affective disorder (where I am living and with whom) and my seasonal affective disorder.  Winter is hard for me, but thank goodness this year, I was able to heal from a bad sinus infection befre the hot weather got here.  It is now in about the 80's, rained.  Philip and I walked this afternoon at about  1:30.  A breezy and not too hot to walk (Summer Breeze!)

Okay Dear Lord, it is going on my bedtime at 9:45 CST.  Please be with me that I may get a good night's sleep and have a Good Sabbath Day tomorrow with Church on Sunday!!!  I pray in Your Son's Name (Jesus), Amen
