Hezekiah prospered in all his works. However, concerning the ambassadors of the princes of Babylon, who sent to him to inquire of the wonder that was done in the land, God left him to test him, that he might know all that was in his heart. 2 Chronicles 32:30-31 WEB.While attending classes at a school, the teacher is right there with you and willing to answer any questions you may have. They spend their time trying to help you understand the subject. But when the test comes later, you are expected to complete it using the knowledge you have been taught. The teacher will no longer answer your questions, and there will be silence in the classroom until the test is over.
When it is time to test what you have been learning, you must be attentive and apply yourself. Are you ready to move on to the next chapter, or will you have to take the same test for the third time? Passing the tests is necessary to advance in your grades and move up.
I know that God will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5), but there will be times when He is not speaking. My wife and I are always together, but we are not constantly talking. In the same way, you can be in His presence and hear nothing but silence. During Hezekiah's most prosperous time, God left him for a season to test him, that he might know all that was in his heart. (2 Chronicles 32:31).
At times in your walk with the Lord Jesus, you are going to experience this silence. You will have to live what you have learned. Walking with the Lord is more than words. When it happens, don't panic. This is a normal progression, and you are not a unique case. Times like this have a set beginning and an ending. The tests also scale to match your level.
If you are trying your best but still going through a quiet time in your life and it seems that God has nothing to say to you, then you are probably going through a test. Hold your head up, think positive, and remember the things you have been taught during the previous months leading up to this. They are the key to what you are going through now. The Lord always prepares us first, and we often know more than we think we do. The test will soon be over, and if you have paid attention, you will advance to the next level. If you fail it, you'll be given another chance to retake it later.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I pray that You bring the things that I need to know back to my remembrance today. I know You have already put the things that I need inside of me. Please bring them back to my attention. I need more of You today. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!Note: 'Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God.' Amen. Just what I needed today. Your grace is sufficient for me Jesus. Thank you for this day and for the life You have given me. I pray for the salvation of my friends and family. Draw they closer to You Lord. Let me see my daughter saved soon Father in Jesus Christ Name. I praise the Name of Jesus.
When I left elementary school, I was still in the 5th grade math book but the next year they just moved me up to 7th grade. I am still lost in math and could not even help my daughter after about the 3rd grade! Sometimes I feel like this in life. I keep thinking I failed a test back there somewhere and still haven't mastered the content.
I passed college math. That is another story. The teacher said she would never forget me but she probably tried.
Amen

I remember about a year ago I was going through a lot when I went to work. Everyday I was uncomfortable at my Job. So several weeks went by and there was still this uneasy level of comfort especially around my coworkers. I had a talk with my older Brother at home. My Brother told me that You are going to be alright you are just going through a test. My thoughts were Lord I really dont want to go through another test. But I got through it and over time I was back to my old self again and I was blessed during the process.
Amen!
Amen Lord Jesus!
