Let us acknowledge Yahweh. Let us press on to know Yahweh. As surely as the sun rises, Yahweh will appear. He will come to us like the rain, Like the spring rain that waters the earth. Hosea 6:3 WEB
During the long hot summer of the south, the fields can get so dry that the crops just sit dead. The one thing that they need to restore life and make everything right, is a good rain shower. Once the rain comes, the fields spring back to life, and the plants start growing again.
There was a season in my life where I became borderline burnout. We had overly served at church for the last few years, and it was too much of a good thing. The harvest truly was plentiful, but the laborers were certainly few, and a lot of those seemed lazy. It was a dry and cynical time in my life.
Some friends invited us to a Christian conference about three hours away, and we reluctantly agreed to go. The conference lasted three days. On the first day we joined the meeting and it opened with great praise and worship, followed by an anointed message. By the end of the day, I was feeling some better.
The second day was the same and soon I began to feel something inside of me coming back to life, like a fire being breathed on. By the third day, I was completely refreshed with a renewed vision for our life and fresh word from the Lord. I left the conference walking on air and thrilled to be alive. I caught fire, in the rain.
Many times in scripture God's presence is compared to rain on a dry and thirsty land. It is the one thing that can bring healing, satisfaction, and life where there is none. Hopes and dreams that were thought long dead, will suddenly spring back to life. There is nothing else like being in the presence of the Lord.
Our lives can get so busy, so full, and yet at the same time, so empty. There is only one thing that will make everything right: Spending time in the Lord's presence. As we spend time with Him, He makes the rest work out for us. He gives us clarity and fills the emptiness. It is truly like a replenishing rain.
Prayer: Father, rain on me. Rekindle the fire within me and breath Your presence on my life Lord. I want more of You. I want to live it and not just talk about it. Do whatever it takes, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

Site update #586: I completed a large update to the Audio Library on the left sidebar. There is now a live service archive of all past services, full-length in case you miss a service and want to catch up, as well as all of our original music. You can download the .mp3 files directly to your device now to listen when you don't have internet. I also added a pop-out player so you can listen without remaining on the page. Give it a try and let me know if you have any problems. 😀

What a blessing, Pastor Dion! The audio library page is easy to navigate and I truly appreciate the pop-out player, as I have many tabs open during my computer sessions and this allows me to keep the music flowing. Well done! 😊🎶

sounds great. I know that will be useful for me...need to write that down. Hope the Todd family have a blessed Saturday and Sunday. I do believe God gave us those 2 special days for His sake and our sake! Work hard or volunteer (myself) hard through the week. We get our rewards here on Earth and rewards in Heaven.
