Then Mordecai asked them to return this answer to Esther: "Don't think to yourself that you will escape in the king's house any more than all the Jews. For if you remain silent now, then relief and deliverance will come to the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. Who...

In the same hour, the fingers of a man's hand came out and wrote near the lamp stand on the plaster of the wall of the king's palace. The king saw the part of the hand that wrote. Then the king's face was changed in him, and his thoughts troubled him; and the joints of his thighs were loosened, and ...

One of the criminals who was hanged insulted him, saying, "If you are the Christ, save yourself and us!" But the other answered, and rebuking him said, "Don't you even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward for our deeds, but this ma...

The Secret Admirer

  • I have put my trust in God. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? Psalms 56:11 WEB.

I walked down the aisle at Church to the offering basket and dropped in my tithes for the week. It had been a few awful weeks in a row now, and it was starting to show at home. My tithe was ten percent of almost nothing once again.

Later, when I got home, I opened my Bible and found an envelope tucked inside it. Apparently, when I had gotten up to give my offering, someone had placed $250 in cash in my Bible! God had once again taken care of me when I had not told a soul that I needed anything. I still do not know who did it, but God does, and I sure needed it.

God was my secret admirer. He was my supporter. When things got bad, and there was nowhere to turn, the Lord was there. Silently, secretly, He took care of me. I told Him I needed help, and He told someone else that I needed help, someone that was able.

Put your trust in God and not in man. Make your needs known to Him and do your part, no matter how small, then trust Him to do His. My offering was only a few dollars, but if I had not gotten up to give it, I probably would not have received what God had for me that day.

He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much. He who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much. If, therefore, you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? (Luke 16:10).

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank you for taking care of me. I know that you are my Secret Admirer and have my best interests at heart. Please draw me to You, teach me, and use me as you will, Lord. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!

Amen! God always sees our needs and knows our heart. God is out provider and our protector! My husband is not my provider and I am not my provider, God is my provider. God takes care of us and provides for our every need when we put Him first in our lives. If you are putting God first in your life before everything else know that He will provide for you no matter what, He says He will and He will. Wait on the Lord and remain faithful even when things look bad. I lost my job awhile ago and things looked bad. We could have lost our house because we were having a difficult time making the payment. I was looking for a new job but I had been unable to find one. I knew that God would provide for us somehow. A couple from our church offered to pay for our mortgage payment for one month which really blesses us. God is so good to us. We sold our house and moved to a less expensive house where my husband could afford the payment in case I did not find a job. God knows what we need before we ask, so ask and wait for God to bless you more than you could ever ask or hope.
