He told them this parable. Which of you men, if you had one hundred sheep, and lost one of them, wouldnt leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one that was lost, until he found it? Luke 15:3 WEB
I had a very vivid dream one night where a person who had attended our church was hurt and had huge sores on their body, but I had a salve that would heal them. When I rubbed the salve over their sores, they were so touched that someone cared, that they began weeping.
Confused about the dream, but noting that I had not seen them in a while, I decided that I would invite them out to dinner. They agreed and over a long dinner I learned that they had been hurt over a simple misunderstanding. No one involved meant anyone harm, but they had withdrawn thinking the worst. I knew everyone involved and was able to explain, pray for them, and it brought healing to the relationship. They returned to church and everything was fine.
God does not toss people away. He actively seeks out the lost and the wounded and He will use you to do it. You are His body on the earth. He will heal people through you, speak through you, but you have to go. Also, God does not want to lose anyone, but we all have a free will and can push Him away and those that He sends to us. Those that He sends, do not have to go at all. Truly the harvest is great, but the laborers are few (Matt. 9:37).
Let God love you, and through you. Dont let the one that He has placed on your heart slip through the cracks. Work with Him to bring in the harvest. Go after the lost and the wounded when He brings them to your remembrance. He will back you up.
Prayer: Father show me the lost and give me Your words to comfort them. Help me see them through Your eyes. Guide me, teach me, use me, in the name of Jesus I pray.
Note: Good morning, RHM family, Sylvia here :). Just FYI, today is Dion''s birthday, and so if you would like to wish him a happy birthday here, this would be the time! Hope you all have a very blessed day :)!
