Hear, then, the parable of the farmer. When anyone hears the word of the Kingdom, and doesn't understand it, the evil one comes, and snatches away that which has been sown in his heart. Matt. 13:18 WEB
Once while praying about something, I felt like I heard a small whisper back from the Lord, encouraging me to go ahead with what I was praying about. Then immediately afterwards came doubt, unbelief, and a feeling like 'that's not God, just your imagination.' So I prayed about it again and this scripture came to me very clearly.
God's word starts as a little seed, but as you believe, it will grow into something beautiful. When the Lord speaks something to your heart, the enemy comes immediately to cast doubt, unbelief and confusion on you. It is an attempt to stop the positive effects that God intended. Rather than you stepping out into what God has for you, the enemy wants to kill your dream before it takes root, and before it gets started.
God works in our lives with His word: 'He sends his word, and heals them, And delivers them from their graves' (Psalms 107:20). This includes the 'Logos' (written word) and the 'Rhema' (spoken word). When Jesus said: It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God' (Matthew 4:4), that is the Rhema word.
God is not dead and He still speaks to us today if we will listen. Jesus said many times: 'He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says' (Matt. 11:15, Mark 4:9, 4:23, Luke 8:8, 14:35, Rev. 2:7, 2:11, 2:17, 2:29, 3:6, 3:13, 3:22). Many are spiritually deaf, but don't let that stop you from listening.
When you pray and get a positive response, believe, hang onto it, and step out in to what God has for you. If you fall, He is able to catch you. If afterwards you have feelings of doubt and fear, you can bet that the enemy is trying to thwart God's plan for you by holding you back. Do not let the enemy take away what God has in store for you through unbelief.
Prayer: Father I choose to believe, help me overcome my unbelief. I want more of You in my life. I want to serve You with my whole heart and know you intimately. Please be a part of my life, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.
Site update #586: I completed a large update to the Audio Library on the left sidebar. There is now a live service archive of all past services, full-length in case you miss a service and want to catch up, as well as all of our original music. You can download the .mp3 files directly to your device now to listen when you don't have internet. I also added a pop-out player so you can listen without remaining on the page. Give it a try and let me know if you have any problems. 😀

What a blessing, Pastor Dion! The audio library page is easy to navigate and I truly appreciate the pop-out player, as I have many tabs open during my computer sessions and this allows me to keep the music flowing. Well done! 😊🎶

sounds great. I know that will be useful for me...need to write that down. Hope the Todd family have a blessed Saturday and Sunday. I do believe God gave us those 2 special days for His sake and our sake! Work hard or volunteer (myself) hard through the week. We get our rewards here on Earth and rewards in Heaven.
