My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Fathers hand. John 10:26 ESV
The star of the show that we were watching took some really bad knocks and it looked like he was going down for the last time. Somehow, he found some inner strength and soon pulled himself together, got back up and gave the bad guy what was coming to him. The hero always gets back up after a knock down.
Life can be full of setbacks, disappointments and failures but the God we serve is stronger than all and no one is able to snatch us from Him. God is stronger than any addiction, demon, person, task or circumstance that you face today.
The only thing that truly matters is your relationship with Him. When you are in His hand nothing is going to touch you without Him allowing it for some purpose. I am not saying that you will never be sick or in need. I am saying that you will never be alone, and you will never be lost because our God is able to sustain you.
He is able to make all things work out for your good. Even the things that were meant to harm you will instead promote you. You will not go down for the last time because God will always give you the strength to get back up.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I pray that you give me the grace to always get up when I fall. Help me see things the way that You do and draw my heart to You, in the name of Jesus.
Note: The FAAD (Fight Against Anxiety & Depression) group's will weekly live chat event is available for RSVP! It will be taking place, as usual, at 7pm EST in the FAAD chat room. The topic will be "Overcoming Guilt & Shame", something we all probably encounter at times! To join the event, go to the site home page or the FAAD group page. If you have any issues with joining the event, please feel free to contact us!
As some of you know, Scott Riegelmann, who was a long-time brother here at RHM, passed away last Friday. His service will be in Oregon this Friday (5/23). If anyone happens to have any words that you'd like to share at his service, please message me by Thursday and they will be read in his honor at his service. God bless, everyone 🙏!
