For from of old men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen a God besides you, who works for him who waits for him. You meet him who rejoices and does righteousness, those who remember you in your ways. Behold, you were angry, and we sinned. We have been in sin for a long time...

Unstoppable from Refreshing Hope Ministries on Vimeo. The Apostle Paul had a "thorn in the flesh" that he asked the Lord to remove three times, yet, the Lord refused to do so. He told Paul this: "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Paul wrote about it lat...

He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor repaid us for our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. Psalms 103:10-12 WEB.We dro...

The Mountain Mover

  • Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun. Psalm 37:4-6 WEB.

Once while performing a deed search on some property, we found a tax lien had been filed against us by the state for several thousand dollars. After calling the Department of Revenue, they said we had missed filing some business form about office furniture years ago. Yet, we didn't have an office.

So they "estimated" that we owed the maximum amount they could charge. Then the penalties and fines had multiplied for years. We had never received any notification about this form and were horrified when we found out. They couldn't give us the details because the record had been archived. The lady on the phone told us that they would have to restore a backup of it that night and to "Please check back tomorrow."

My wife Sylvia and I joined hands and prayed about this together. One phrase came to me, "Say nothing negative."

Every fiber of my being wanted to scream, "We don't owe this in the first place!" I wanted to whine and complain so badly'but we didn't. Instead, we just didn't talk about it at all for the next 24 hours. We ate dinner in silence. It was difficult. We just had to trust God to handle the situation because it had grown into a mountain.

The next day we called the D.O.R. back and found that it was an error. They agreed that we never owed the bill. So the penalties and fees shouldn't have accumulated anyway. The lady nicely removed the record, and the tax lien went away.

When mountains rise up in front of you, and things begin to look impossible to resolve, trust in the Lord God. He can make the impossible come to pass, for nothing impossible for Him. God can move the mountain.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, please melt the mountains in my life. Cover me with your Holy Spirit and protect me during this time. Help me make the right decisions and to say nothing negative. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!

Note: For those participating in the Creation Photography weekly themes, here is this week's challenge from group leader, Dianna Wyles: Psalm 126:2 "Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, 'The Lord has done great things for them.'" ~ Our next fun theme will be 'May there always be laughter... May you always find joy'. What makes you laugh? What moments bring you? Our themes are wide open for creative interpretation so let's get creative! Also, you are encouraged to post anything else that inspires you as well. My photos this week reflect some of the many ways we aspire to seek laughter and to hold joy in as many moments as we are able. Thank you all for being part of the reason I remain in hope of the many blessings to come. Many 'May' blessings of laughter and joy to you ~ God bless! Here is the link: Creation Photographers

Heavenly Father we thank You for giving us Your Son Jesus and the Comforter to lead us through this life where we found many things against us. That every mountain we encounter be taken away from our path to stay closer to you. In Jesus Christ name we pray, Amen. Thank you Lord, be our guide, Amen.

Excellent testimony Pastor, God bless you both, Amen.

I have a mountain between the man I love and me.  He thinks he is happy with another woman and that we just had bad timing.  He says he will pray that I find another man.  Every fiber in my being says he is the one for me.  I cannot give up.  He is the best thing that ever happened to me.

Please OH LORD, move this mountain so we can be together.  IF it is your will, I pray it is.

In Jesus name

Amen
