The Body Snatcher

  • I will seek the lost, and I will bring back the strayed, and I will bind up the injured, and I will strengthen the weak Ezekiel 34:15 ESV

As the tears flowed down my face, I knew they werent mine. I had a rough upbringing and could count the people that I loved on one hand. Yet as I laid hands on this hopelessly lost rogue that had stolen so many things in the past, and was even now wanted by the police, I could feel such compassion welling up inside me. These feelings were not mine. I did not even want this person in my yard but I had been abducted by the Holy Spirit.

God loved this lost soul and He had sent him to my house to ask for prayer that day because he was in a really bad situation. I didnt like the person, but I submitted to the Holy Spirits guidance. The moment I touched him, we all started weeping. It was a divine encounter and I could feel the Lord breaking through years of pain and disappointments. I could literally feel how much God loved this poor soul that was lost, alone, and hurting. He understood.

If you are lost, know that the Lord is seeking you today and that He is not mad at you. God loves the lost and wants to bring them into His family. What they have done in the past does not matter. He will wash them as white as snow. If you are standing near them you might just become His means to reach them. He will use your hands as His. He will use your mouth to speak His words. The Holy Spirit is the ultimate body snatcher.

Prayer: Lord lead me into divine encounters and conversations. Open the door and I will step through it. I will be Your hands on this earth. Here I am, use me, in the name of Jesus.

Kathy Banfield
Kathy Banfield I've been praying for such an encounter to take place between me and my parents, but after this past Thursday, when they "snubbed" me, I wonder if God has other plans. If anything, I am more alienated from my birth family than ever before.Only a miracle could draw us all together; there's simply too much pain and resentment in my family right now. Please pray for us. Thanks so very much!

Twila Stierwalt
Twila Stierwalt Amen, I know God does lead people across our path, some times they are not the people we would like to be around. God puts us in situations that are uncomfortable, so we can make a choice to listen to the Holy Spirit, and depend on Him.

Nell Neathery
Nell Neathery In my morning with Jesus:  "Our ability to express our emotions with tears is a gift, and God keeps track of each tear we cry.  Psalm 56:8 says, 'You keep track of all my sorrows.  You have collected all my tears in your bottle.  Your have recorded each one in your book.'  But one day--we are promised (Rev. 7:17)--God 'will wipe away every tear.'  Our loving heavenly Father, who washed away our sins, will also wipe away our tears."

Patty Martin
Patty Martin Kathy, I understand how you feel about being snubbed by family.  My situation is one with my daughter-in-law.  For many years, we were close but for the past 4 yrs. she has snubbed me, spoke harshly to me, told my son I am a fake and she doesn't like me, and only lets me see my grandbabies about every 2-3 months.  I cannot understand what has happened between us.  I've never been a meddling mother-in-law....never....and always loved her unconditionally.  I always told her I loved her, complimented her as a mother and wife, and I always felt as though she was the daughter I never had.  I cannot express the heartbreak I've felt for the past 4 yrs.  I recently invited her to lunch so we can talk but she ignores me.  All I can tell you is that in God's perfect timing, scars will heal.  I pray every day and night that God will soften her heart and restore our once beautiful relationship.  I know the enemy is behind all of this and using my daughter-in-law to hurt me and pull me away from Jesus.  The enemy will not win.  I am trusting our Father in Heaven to lead me and I know that in time, this too shall pass.  Hold on to your faith and keep praying for your family.

Gretchen Simms
Gretchen Simms    Hard to imagine our God invites us to be part of what he is doing in the lives of men and women.  It is so cool, He doesn't need me to do anything.  He invites me because it will bless me.   Praise His Holy name!!!
