Unstoppable from Refreshing Hope Ministries on Vimeo. The Apostle Paul had a "thorn in the flesh" that he asked the Lord to remove three times, yet, the Lord refused to do so. He told Paul this: "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Paul wrote about it lat...

He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor repaid us for our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. Psalms 103:10-12 WEB.We dro...

Then Jonathan said, "Behold, we will pass over to the men, and we will reveal ourselves to them. If they say this to us, 'Wait until we come to you!' then we will stand still in our place and will not go up to them. But if they say this, 'Come up to us!' then we will go up, for Yahweh has delivered ...

Silence In The Classroom

  • He succeeded in everything he undertook. But when envoys were sent by the rulers of Babylon to ask him about the miraculous sign that had occurred in the land, God left him to test him and to know everything that was in his heart. 2 Chronicles 32:30 NIV

Hezekiah was a great king in Judah who followed the Lord closely. At his prayer, God sent an angel and wiped out 185,000 Assyrians who were coming to attack Jerusalem (2 Kings 19:35). At his prayer, God healed him and added fifteen years to his life (2 Kings 20:6). Still, there was a time when God left him to test him and to know what was in his heart.

When a teacher is teaching the class, you can ask all the relevant questions that you have about the subject and the teacher will answer them. However when the test comes, there is silence in the classroom.

I know scripture says that He will never leave nor forsake you, but there is a difference in the omnipresence of God which is everywhere and His manifest presence which may or may not be in the room with you.

Those are the times when there is no answer and your tears seem to go unnoticed. When you feel that God has gotten you out on a limb and then abandoned you. Know that you are not really alone. You are simply entering the test phase of what you have been learning. You continue on with the last word given until you have a new one. There is always silence in the classroom during a test.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I pray that You strengthen me and give me the grace to get through these times. Please reveal the pride in my life to me so that I can deal with it before it harms me, in the name of Jesus.

Note: 'Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God.' (2 Philippians 4:6-7) ~ If you have a prayer need, we are here for you! We and the prayer team are ready to lift you up at our private prayer page: RHM Prayer Network

i heard "i will be with you"

i thought "omg I'm going to get framed and go for jail for something i didn't do"  maybe i had recently read Genesis 40?...

that didn't happen, but still silence "for half an hour"

well... sort of silence

light is silent

doesn't He know my heart, already, better than i ever will?

confusing verse, but its cool how experience echoes things in scripture and its like a little thing in your moments, but gives big testimony to big truths that lead to bigger trust

kinda echoes the beginning of Daniel a bit

i wonder about Hezekiahs kids

he was like okay disaster is stayed until i die it will wait until my kids - what details can be found - did he prepare them - were they with the wise selected in Babylon of Israel and Mitzraim?  What were they eating?  this was one of the first things i found. mysteries mysteries ♡
