If you died with Christ from the elements of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to ordinances, "Don't handle, nor taste, nor touch" (all of which perish with use), according to the precepts and doctrines of men? These things indeed appear like wisdom in self-imp...

Walk on Water from Refreshing Hope Ministries on Vimeo. An extraordinary event unfolds in Matthew chapter 14, one that is unparalleled elsewhere in the Bible: a common fisherman defying the laws of nature by walking on water. This miraculous feat wasn't performed by Jesus, but rather by Peter, a ...

  • When they began to sing and to praise, Yahweh set ambushers against the children of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were struck. For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir to utterly kill and destroy them. When they had finished the inhabitants of Seir, everyone helped to destroy each other. 2 Chronicles 20:22 WEB

A great army with troops from several countries once invaded Israel, and King Jehoshaphat became scared. The situation looked hopeless for their little army was vastly outnumbered. When King Jehoshaphat went to the Lord in prayer, the Lord gave him a fresh direction, and a very strange plan. He brought out the choir in holy attire and sent them before his army, on the front lines, singing 'Give thanks to the Lord for His steadfast love endures forever.'

The approaching praise team coming over the hill had to look completely insane to the enemy troops. They were probably whistling themselves, while sharpening their axes, and daydreaming about all the loot they would be gathering when they sacked Jerusalem.

Yet when Jehoshaphat's choir began to sing their praises to God, He set ambushes against the enemy and they turned on each other and wiped themselves completely out in an utter state of confusion. They attacked each other, and not a single enemy escaped the slaughter. The army of Israel did not have to kill anyone, and it took them three days to gather all the spoil.

There was a vast amount of food, medicine, armor, weapons, clothing, precious jewelry, and all of these were 'delivered' right to their door. The Israelites spent a long time thanking God for this amazing blessing. The giant enemy army that they were so afraid of, turned out to be delivery boys. God's people faced the enemy, but God won the battle for them and gave them quite a blessing.

If you are facing an impossible situation today, do not neglect praising God, and face the coming trouble with a smile. Praise (halal) means to flash, radiate, to shine; to make the Lord look good! Lord, you are Awesome! God's way is not our way, it is far better. It just may be that your impossible situation becomes a great blessing in disguise, delivered right to your door, by the Kingdom Express.

Prayer: Heavenly Father I know that You are in control and I am going to praise You in the storm. I am going to dance in the rain. I don't have to understand everything, for I know that You do. Please tell me what I need to know next and I will trust You with the rest. I love You and thank You, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

Thank you God for ALWAYS being there through think and thin!  There are times when I am baffled when going through the storms of life and continue to pray without seeing any results; however, you have NEVER failed and when I am in the rainbow of happiness, it is ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!  My faith may waiver from time to time, but YOU ALWAYS shine the light and I know that ALL is GOOD!  Lord Jesus I pray to you for the kindness, compassion, forgiveness and the love you show to me!  In your most precious name I pray, AMEN!!

Just a great devotional! We need and must trust God, We cant go wrong, I personally am really able to praise and worship the Lord while I work in the studio doing music for his purpose, Not only do I sing along sometimes, But I get filled with the spirit hearing the praises. God is always with us and it pleasures him greatly when we sing and praise him. :) Just my 2 cents this morning from Big Time Burleson Texas. Thank You For Loving Us Lord Amen!

Amen! Just recently I've felt trapped in a seemingly no win situation. A door shut that I was shure was a golden opportunity for a new better paying job with better working conditions. Seems like other doors I'm trying are shut too and I started giving into discouragement. But, I know that God knows best and hears my prayers. I am shaking these feelings of discouragement off especially after reading this encouraging message; and thanking and praising Father Yahweh. I realise I need to trust Him fully and rest in Him. I've asked Him and I'll keep on asking Him to fight my battles, defeat my enemies in both the spiritual realm and here in the physical. To God be the Glory! Less of me and more of Him!
