They went out from there, and passed through Galilee. He didn't want anyone to know it. For he was teaching his disciples, and said to them, 'The Son of Man is being handed over to the hands of men, and they will kill him; and when he is killed, on the third day he will rise again.' But they didn't understand the saying, and were afraid to ask him. Mark 9:30 WEBThe manager of the the office nodded as I explained the details of the Linux mail server that I had just installed for them, but as his eyes glazed over and he began looking at his watch, I could tell that he did not really understand it. Many times while working in the computer field I have tried to explain something that I thought was simple to someone, and received that very same look.
It was a common look, but it did not matter. The system worked well and they were able to continue on with their work without ever knowing how that mail server worked. It ran silently in the back room for years and consistently delivered their email.
Most of the employees did not even know what that box was, or why it was back there, though they sent mail through it every single day. They only knew that the blue light should be on, or they needed to call Dion, because my phone number was taped across the front of it. They were completely happy to let me worry about the things that they did not understand.
In your walk with God, there are going to be some things that you do not understand. 'Why did this happen?' will always be just a thought away. If you really want to know, do not be afraid to ask Him, but never let your lack of understanding become an impasse for you. Don't let it become a stumbling block.
God answers us because He wants to, not because He has to. Just as with a person, you should ask nicely and be patient. If you try and twist His arm, you will find that it does not bend easily, and that you are always free to go sulk in a corner while the world marches on around you. It is your life, and you can choose to do that. But if you will keep a positive attitude and just let it go, then you will be able to continue on and one day you may understand it.
There are many questions that I do not have an answer to, and many things that I cannot explain. I have decided to put things like that on the back burner, to focus on what I do understand today, and to keep that as simple as possible.
My relationship with Jesus is my prize, my goal, my passion. I choose to rest in the arms of Jesus and to let Him worry about the things that I do not understand. For me to do it would be like an ant worrying about the orbit of the sun. It is simply beyond me and my abilities.
Many times when I have asked about a scripture or a question, I have had a dream or a revelation that did help me to understand it better. Just know that you do not need to understand how God works, for Him to work. Just keep doing the part that you do understand until He gives you more. It is good to not understand something, but choose to trust that He does, and not let it affect your relationship.
Prayer: Heavenly Father I thank You for being there for me. I know that You know the end from the beginning. Though there are things that I don't understand, I choose to trust in You and I will not let my lack of understanding diminish my faith, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.Note: Good morning, just a reminder that our Wednesday RHM Live worship service is happening tonight! Amen good reminder I think we can stumble in alot ways if we are always trying to understand God.God's ways are not our ways and his thoughts are not ours.I am always thinking in my head how is God gonna work this thing out instead of just trusting and resting in God to figure things out.So much peace when we stop trying to figure things out and just trust and stand back and allow God to be God.Amen good stuff :)
Amen!
His ways are higher and our limited human mind can never comprehend it.............
Thx paastor.....

"Oh for the Grace to trust Him more"
How can we posiably ever understand all that God is and does. Have you ever wondered what He does every day? God created the universe thousands of years ago, He is still doing what God does today, how could we ever wrap our minds around who God is. We maybe should just be greateful that He is! Thank you heavenly Father!
Amen brother.
Amen! I’m forever thankful for His work in my life,
I believe and trust you Jesus. You are my Lord and Master.I love and worship you. Amen
Amen we do not have because we do not ask. Whenever we need wisdom or guidance we only need to ask Him. When we need strength to get through a difficult task, we only need to ask Him. When we need healing, we only need to ask Him. The list goes on and on, so I have found to aways ask Him first thing in the morning for help to get through my day, He never fails to do it, as long as I do not fail to ask.
I agree and before I even leave my bed I pray and ask Father to help me through my day. I even ask for my husband and my children. I then go into prayer for people, problems and many other things that we need prayers for. Amen <3
Whoa--great Teaching! This made Me think of all the times, I learned let things go some times! Everything is His timing!! Our joy, when we get answers, being shown the greatness, of Patience!!!!!
Thank you Father God! Amen.
Heavenly Father, I know You are working for me on the things I don't understand. Always give me the opportunity to follow You and wait for You. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
Amen! I choose to trust my Lord with everything and understanding that I'll never ever have all the answers that I'm looking for, for He alone is all-knowing, and He will eventually give me all the answers either in here on earth or in the blessed life to come. So I'll safely rest in the arms of Jesus and put my total trust and dependance in Him alone!
Amen <3
I am convinced that God is purposley witholding certain mysteries from us until we get to Heaven. Then, He will reveal all the scerets to us--secrets that are too amazing and too wonderful for our mortal minds to comprehend now.
Amen
