    My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. • Yahweh said to Gideon, 'The people who are with you are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hand, lest Israel brag against me, saying, 'My own hand has saved me.' Now therefore proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, 'Whoever is fearful and trembling, let him return and depart from Mount Gilead.' ' So twenty two thousand of the people returned, and ten thousand remained. Yahweh said to Gideon, 'There are still too many people.' Judges 7:2 WEB

    Gideon started out with an army of thirty-two thousand men, but ended up with three hundred at the start of the actual battle. God Himself took them away and separated them from Gideon, intentionally. Gideon was not abandoned, and it was completely God's will for this to happen. In fact, it was God's plan all along.

    We like to bring as big an army as possible, but God likes to be outnumbered. He prefers it this way. In His army, quality is better than quantity. When the enemy comes in like a flood, God will cause His person to stand through it and everyone looking on will have to say that this is the work of God. When God saves you from an impossible situation, you will remember that well, but when it is all easy and effortless, where is the challenge in that?

    So you may set out to do something with a terrific group of people, and then find that it is just you and a handful left. This is probably not an accident. God has plans to make you shine and He has placed the ones around you that need to be there, and removed the rest. You will come through this and everyone will know that the Lord is truly with you. All you have to do is keep pressing forward into what He has given you to do and you will succeed.

    Prayer: Heavenly Father I thank You so much for all that You do for me. I am so glad that You accept me just as I am, but will also help me become the best version of myself. Put those around me that need to be there, and remove the ones that should not be, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

    Note: Happy Monday! The highlighted group of the week is God''s Children Prayer Group: this group''s purpose is to pray for the children of this world that are sick or going through a difficulty in which they need to see God show up for them in a big way. If you have a prayer need for a child in your life, or would like to participate in prayer, you are welcome to join. (this group is private, meaning all are welcome, but only group members can see the posts) ALSO, the Creation Photographers fun theme is "The Harvest", based on Matthew 9:37! As always, you are free to post anything else that inspires you, too! FINALLY, for those following along with our RHM Bible Study, the newest installment is available, covering Luke Chapter Eight. For links to all of these areas and more, please see the Announcements at the top of our home page here: Announcements}

Amen. I’m a living witness of this. In a court battle where the opposing party was threatening to take my child, I had lined up somewhere between 10 - 12 witnesses. But when my attorney reached out to them to confirm their commitments, they began dropping like flies. I was left with 3 witnesses. I was terrified!!!!! But God knew best. Those 3 witnesses’ testimonies sealed the fate of the opposition. I was given a whopping 70% of custody; which my attorney says is unheard of in my state. It was a landslide victory; which was my prayer! God can do exceedingly and abundantly above all we can ask, think, or imagine! Glory to God!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jim!!!!!!! You have NO idea what’s going on, yet you declared that in faith! Tears! Wowww! I’m actually due back in court on Wednesday. I don’t want to go into a lot of detail but basically the Judge put a restraining order on the opposition. (There was a child abuse case with an arrest. The family court judge implemented a 1-year restraining order.  The opposition was able to get out of the charges somehow and the child abuse case was dropped to my horror. The marks on her body were evident. Fast forward to the present. So I go back to court on Wednesday where the opposition plans to advise the family court judge of the dropped criminal case. The opposition wants to get access to my child again. The opp

The opposition hasn’t seen my child in almost a year. I have enjoyed the 100% custody that you spoke of, but I didn’t know if it was right for me to ask God for it again. Since the criminal charges were dropped, what could I stand on to prove to the Judge that my child should remain solely with me? But your post!!!! You’ve given me the confidence to ask it of God!!! Thank you!!! And sorry for the long post.

God - Jesus is the coach and no matter the sport he chooses the players to get the job done and he ALWAYS wins - we can all choose to be on HIS team.  He will choose his starting team that will get the job done.  But we're all in training at different levels of skill.  Each player or member of HIS team is important and has a role.  He loves HIS team- players and members need  to be obedient to the training and guidelines for the team!   All love the game and the coach- and the coach gave his life for the team but came back to live and love some more!  His love is endless.

It makes Soo much sense in that God gets the Glory.  Hadn't thought about friends and such you mentioned but I see it's true because over years they are there for a reason and then gone.  It lights up how blessed it is to be special to God.  He is a jealous God...He wants me and all who stay close.  It is Special!
