For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won't prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won't delay. Habakkuk 2:3 WEB.About thirty-five years ago, the Lord gave me a word that I would pioneer new things in ministry and fo...

The king talked with them; and among them all was found no one like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. Therefore stood they before the king. In every matter of wisdom and understanding concerning which the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchante...

If you died with Christ from the elements of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to ordinances, "Don't handle, nor taste, nor touch" (all of which perish with use), according to the precepts and doctrines of men? These things indeed appear like wisdom in self-imp...

So Good To Me

  • Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act. Psalms 37:4 ESV

When the man tossed the cable on the desk, I started laughing. I could hardly believe it. I have always been drawn to technical things like a moth to a bug light and I like tinkering with them. I wanted to hook a computer up to my television and needed an DVI to HDMI cable. They are common today, but in 2004 they were nearly unheard of. I searched the Internet and found one for about forty dollars, but something told me to wait so I did not buy it.

We owned a small computer business and our first client of the day was an insurance company. We walked into the office and while discussing the issues that they were having, the man reached into a desk drawer and tossed an unopened DVI to HDMI cable on the desk. He said 'I don't know why I bought this, but I certainly do not need it. Maybe you can use it for something?' I started laughing. 'God is so good to me', I thought.

Some would say that is not scriptural and HDMI is not in the Bible, but it does not matter. The scripture says that He will give you the desires of your heart. Like the blind man said, 'I don't know how it happened. I was blind, but now I see', I needed a cable and did not have one, but now I do. Delight yourself in the Lord, put Him first in your life and He will take care of you. God cares about the little things, not just the big decisions and He wants to be intimately involved in your daily life. All that I know is this: He is so good to me.

Prayer: Father, draw my heart to You like never before. Give me the grace to live a life pleasing to You and walk with me each day, in the name of Jesus.

Aaaaaaaamen!!! I'm a living witness of His goodness...day in and day out! I often pray, "Lord, let me see You actively at work in my life! Show up today in some intimate, personal way." And it never fails! He shows up in things that wouldn't matter to anyone else but that mean something to me. As the scripture says, "He perfects that which concerneth me." (I believe that's from Psalm 138:8, if I'm not mistaken.)

There certianly are those who think just because things are not in the Bible, it must not be God. I can tell everyone that when you make God your priority, He will do things for you without you even asking. I just got back from the Masters an Augusta, most do not understand how imposiable those tickets are to get especially for someone like me. But with God, nothing is imposiable! I have said many times and I will continue to say; "Just try serving God in your life and see for yourself how much better your life will be!" God really does give us the desires of our hearts and He knows!

Im reaching out to all who pray to please pray for me today. I will be seeing a new surgeon at 10 am. I pray that he will tell me I don't have to have a corrective surgery on my hand. Im praying for a healing miracle from GOD as He has done so many miracles in my life already. I have to get ready now. Also please pray for traveling mercy as I go through downtown Charlotte which usually cause panic attack for me and that my car will not over heat as I have been having issues and can't seem to find exact cause after several times taking for repairs. May God Bless You and keep you all today. Thank you. Rebecca

Praying for you Rebecca, that God will heal your body; and I understand your panic attacks, I pray the Lord wrap His arms around you as you drive to Dr. And am also praying for your car! In the holy name of Jesus!

I pray Lord, that you please bring calm into Rebecca's life as she is dealing with so much! In the name of Jesus, thank you! Amen

This is one of my first life scriptures and very meaningful to me! I was telling my husband last night of my testimony and when I first met my spiritual parents in the Lord. It's amazing when we wait on God and then He gives us exactly what we need! This is my anniversary week of when God saved my life physically and spiritually through these two people !!

I love it when God shows up in the "little things"!! When I know that it was Him, that I say "that was a God-thing"...and it is so obvious to me! And for some reason, I still have trouble asking Him for the 'big things'...your cable story reminded me of a time when, we had ran out of kitty litter, and I said out loud  to my ex, that we needed to get some but money was short as we had just moved...I had no sooner said it, when, I looked at a pile of stuff set out on the curb, evidetally for trash pickup. There sat a big box of kitty litter! After checking it out, it had plenty of unused kitty litter left in the box! I had no shame picking it up took it home & used it!! But, I KNEW that it WAS A GOD-THING!
