Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. Isaiah 43:1 ESV
It was almost dark and we had to ride our motorcycles through the swamp to get back home. We had done it many times, but this time it had rained a lot and we came to a place where the trail was completely flooded out. Home was on the other side and we had to go through the water to get there. I started in and could see the red sandy bottom of the stream as I started through the water. Then I saw the water turn dark and the front wheel dipped down.
Thinking it was just a dip and that it would surely come up the other side, I hit the gas. The next thing I knew I was swimming in fast running water with limbs and debris streaming past me. It was shoulder deep. The motorcycle was laying on the bottom of the creek. It was scary. I had to fish around on the bottom to find the motorcycle and drag it out. We removed the spark plug, drained the water from it and pushed for about half a mile before we got it started again, then we made it on home.
It is always scary to face a trial, but God will bring you through it and you will make it to the other side. There is no testimony without passing through the test. There is no glory without first living the story. There is no victory without a challenge. In this scripture, they went through the water, but God got them through to the other side.
No matter what you are going through today, God wants you to overcome but you will have to put on your gloves and fight if you want it. He wants you to be a winner, and if you will simply walk with Him one day at a time you will beat this thing. Home is on the other side.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I pray that you help me pass through whatever trial I may face. I trust in You and know that you have my best interest in mind, in the name of Jesus.
God is so Good, even when I don't deserve it.
Amen. I read this online awhile back, it is not a verse from the Bible, but it speaks truth. God gives His hardest battles to His strongest warriors. I have found this so true in my life.
Amen
Amen Jesus.

Wow..That was a story of yr bike. My son had one of those in first marriage. He flew in air with it. As I speak of him please say a prayer for Brant. He & my daughter in law are divorcing. He comes from GA to here around Valentine's day. He signed all papers. He sees my Grandgirls. Hard story of many yrs of abuse she went through with my son. Sad. Yet a diagnosis is Borderline personality disorder & Narcissim. He has no clue no matter who has talked to him in all these yrs. Church in GA counseled them & separately. He was diagnosed. Mental illness is difficult. Soo much help. When he was young like 8-9 grades he wanted to go to military school. He went to Norfolk VA near CBN. Born again Christian counceler/chaplain. So nice. We had much hardship raising him in school , public society & in home. Police, mentalwrard etc. All new he needed help. So abuse went on to my daughter in law. She was abused as child up by mother. Horrible stories. Her Dad stood bk..Did nothing. So she was a set up unfortunately for my son. My son spent a yr in prison for an hard to mention action. Also probation young for stealing motor cycles. He switched and this other half in his personality is as though nothing is there. You mentioned Mannasah being cruel 55 yrs...My got ached to think of it for those who he ruled over. My son is very smart & is in a high paying job in a concrete company. Protection for the one he meets. He got saved in prison. He has been in church for yrs yet no relationship signs come from him. Jer.31:15 the Lord gave me long ago. He will bring my children bk fr the land of the enemy. I may not see it...Just trust God to finish what He started. I love ISA.43:1 & 18- to end. Thank you & Blessings pour out on all in RHM!
Amen.Thank you Heavenly Father for I know you will never leave me nor forsake me.What ever happens I can still Praise you.as you are there beside me.Thank you for teaching me this and showing me..I give thanks to you with all of my heart.
