John answered them, 'I baptize in water, but among you stands one whom you don't know. He is the one who comes after me, who is preferred before me, whose sandal strap I'm not worthy to loosen.' These things were done in Bethany beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing. The next day, he saw Jesus...

As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desir...

He entered into one of the boats, which was Simon's, and asked him to put out a little from the land. He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat. When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, 'Put out into the deep, and let down your nets for a catch.' Simon answered him, 'Master, we wor...

The Vine And The Branch

  • Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can't bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me. I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:4 WEB

The ministry of Jesus from the first recorded miracle of turning water into wine, until His resurrection was about three-and-a-half years. He took away the sins of the universe and if we let Him personally, He will take ours. Jesus changed the world that He lived in.

We labor each day for so many things when in reality, if we just get in tune with Him, we would accomplish so much more and it would be more fulfilling as well. Like Mary sitting at the feet of Jesus while Martha labored in the kitchen, sometimes we just need to sit and listen. Too often though, we are like Martha, making sandwiches that no one ordered and just getting tired and frustrated when they don't seem to appreciate it.

Jesus is the Vine, we are the branches, and it is our connection with Him that makes our own life bear fruit. I find that when I spend some quiet time with the Lord before I start my day, pray for a few minutes, read a little scripture and listen, that my day goes so much better. It reminds me of why I am doing this and that I am not just struggling alone in this life. After a few minutes alone with the Lord, I am much stronger.

Always include the Lord in Your day. Remember that without Him, you can do nothing of lasting value. Taking just ten minutes to stop, pray and listen, can change your life, those around you, and the world itself.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, please strengthen me today and cover me with Your presence. Draw my heart to You Lord and let me see through Your eyes. Use me and make my life count for Your kingdom, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

Amen, make the time to be with the Lord each morning. All he ask is five minutes of your time, what a great reminder, just five minutes, to be refreshed and ready to conquer the day. Thank you Pastor Dion.

Amen, everyday I begin in thanks, prayer, reading the Word and devotions. It is a habit I will never break from. It strengthens me for the events of the day and draws me closer as I seek His face.

Way too many cosmetic and PC Christians who never read the Scriptures nor understand God Judges on actions not words. Arrogance and hubris are the foundations for churchianity and religiosity.  We need to remembere:  Judge not on appearances or human standards, but on Biblical content and admonitions.  Paul constantly had to confront the phony and counterfeit in the church, which God abhors.  A True Follower of the Way knows God's forgiveness and that all things are good and right for those who adhere not to human standards, but God's LAW as Written in the Pentateuch, in particular, Leviticus and Deutoronomy.

Amen we need Jesus more than ever especially in the days and times we are living in.  We need Jesus in our homes,  schools, jobs, in our surrounding and our everydaylife.  Because the  devil is like a roaring lions he only come to rob and destroy  lives. We need to keep praying and involve God in our lives and day.  Asked God to protect us and we need to involve God in our daily lives and decisions.
