God is my rock in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge. My savior, you save me from violence. 2 Samuel 22:3 WEB.David sang this the day the Lord delivered him from all his enemies. Where others saw nothing, David could see the work of the Lord thr...

In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are ...

The Last Minute

  • He waited seven days, the time appointed by Samuel. But Samuel did not come to Gilgal, and the people were scattering from him. So Saul said, 'Bring the burnt offering here to me, and the peace offerings.' And he offered the burnt offering. As soon as he had finished offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came. 1 Samuel 13:8 ESV

Samuel had told Saul to meet him at Gilgal and that he would make an offering and tell Saul what he must do in the coming battle. Saul waited the seven days but when his army started to scatter, he panicked and made the offering himself. Of course, as soon as Saul finished his offering Samuel showed up.

When the deadline starts approaching we often start sweating, panicking, what are we going to do? Where is God? They say God is never late but He also is not early. He arrives right on time. We are the ones that start to waver, and it is usually right before God shows up.

Do not give up yet. God's help and provision for you is closer than ever. Often we find that when we reach the end of our rope, that God is there to catch us. To us, it seems like the very last minute.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I pray that You help me to hang on, draw me to You and give me a clear vision. Change my heart and cause me to trust in You, in the name of Jesus I pray.

David and Dianna Wyles
David and Dianna Wyles I don't even know why it amazes me any more when you speak of things I am currently struggling with... God has good timing! I think this message was just for me and Leslie! We have been chatting and encouraging each other about our job hunt. Although I stand strong in faith, it can waiver some times! I know God will bless us both in his perfect timing...it's the waiting that seems to invite Satan to invade my dreams and feed me doubt! I am not giving in just yet! I rebuke Satan's lie of fear and doubt! I know my Father in heaven is for me and wants good things to come our way! Thank you pastor for being such a faithful servant to our Father! Pastor's Prayer: Heavenly Father, I pray that You help me to hang on, draw me to You and give me a clear vision. Change my heart and cause me to trust in You, in the name of Jesus I pray.

Carol Policastro Spot on Dianna, especially that the waiting seems to invite satan to invade our thoughts and bring doubt.  I believe together we all rebuke satan and his lies in the coming year.  Welcome 2016 and Emanuel - God with us!!!

Carol Policastro I have a prodigal myself Mari, and recently I have seen things happen.  Not the way I wanted, but according to God's plan.  My prayers are going out to you and your daughter, and know that we are never alone.  He is with us through the good and bad times.  The tears you are crying are not unnoticed.  God bless you and your daughter!

Karen Pasquinelli
Karen Pasquinelli Never give up praying Mari, it will happen.  My son was an addict now he walks with Jesus.  Years ago he even spent 2 years in prison because of the drugs.  I prayed and prayed and finally one day he told me he was going to church and walking with Jesus.  He even goes out with a group of men from his church and preaches the word to the lowly.  He has come a long way and I am so proud of him.  Never give up hope.  I also have a daughter that was not an addict but needed God, she had strayed away.  I prayed for her and years ago she also started going back to church and walks with God daily like my son.  I am so proud of her also and I praise God for bringing them both back to him.

Deleted Member God is so good, He is amazing, He never lets us down, even in our storms, He is right there. He will bring us out of the storms onto dry ground in we put our trust and faith in Him and even when it seems like its not happening when and how we think it should happen, hold on to Jesus tighter and stronger than ever before, don't ever give up on them or anything you have need of, Jesus will be on time.

Richard Mondello
Richard Mondello Lifted you, your daughter and grandchildren up to God in prayer. Trust Him to reach your daughter's heart and free her from the bondage of drugs and any other bondage of sin she is under. I was a wayward child unto my parents myself and did drugs, abused alcohol and a list of other sins. God delivered me from drugs and alcohol. He's also still in the process of healing the problems and pain inside that I was trying to numb, forget or drown away. God opened my eyes to see the error of my ways and helped me realize what truly is important in this life. Mari, I trust God that He will do the same for your daughter too. Amen.

Deleted Member Amen And Amen, God is a miracle working God and He is always there with us through all things and He can and will deliver us if we put our faith and trust in Him and hold on tighter and stronger, knowing and believing that what seems impossible to us in the human eyes, with all things God can make anything POSSIBLE.
