Now after the death of Moses the servant of Yahweh, Yahweh spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' servant, saying, "Moses my servant is dead. Now therefore arise, go across this Jordan, you and all these people, to the land which I am giving to them, even to the children of Israel. Joshua 1:1'2 WEB.Moses, the servant of the Lord, died at 120 years old, and the Lord buried him (Deuteronomy 34:6). No one knows where He buried Moses, and satan became upset because he wanted the body of Moses to use as an idol (Jude 1:9). The people would have turned the grave of Moses into a shrine and begun worshiping there and praying to Moses. It could have led to the start of a new religion.
The people of Israel mourned and wept for Moses for thirty days, then the days of weeping and mourning ended (Deuteronomy 34:8). When the thirty days had passed, and the mourning was completed, the Lord told them, "Moses my servant is dead, Now, therefore, arise, go over this Jordan" (Joshua 1:2). Israel didn't enter the promised land until the death of Moses.
The death of Moses signaled a clear ending to an era so that a new period could begin. It was the end of wandering in the desert and the beginning of taking the promised land. Though they were sad and mourned the passing of Moses, it was necessary to move forward. The old passed away, and the new era began.
When our computer business began to dry up, we went to our pastor and got him to pray with us. During his prayer, he said, "something new. The Lord is doing something new." About a month later, I was a pastor instead of a computer tech. That was quite a change for us. The old had to pass away before the new started.
Sometimes God will bring something in our life that we want to keep to an end. When we finally let it go, He will bring in a new era. It's not pleasant when this is happening, and there may be mourning, a passing away. If He hadn't closed our business, then I wouldn't be here writing this. For you to move forward into your real destiny, at some point, the old must pass away.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!Note: For those following the Creation Photography weekly challenges, group leader, Dianna Wyles: 1 Peter 1:3 "Praise to God for a Living Hope 3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!
