The king talked with them; and among them all was found no one like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. Therefore stood they before the king. In every matter of wisdom and understanding concerning which the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchante...

If you died with Christ from the elements of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to ordinances, "Don't handle, nor taste, nor touch" (all of which perish with use), according to the precepts and doctrines of men? These things indeed appear like wisdom in self-imp...

Plunder Hell And Populate Heaven

  • But you, beloved, keep building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life. On some have compassion, making a distinction, and some save, snatching them out of the fire with fear, hating even the clothing stained by the flesh. Jude 1:20'23 WEB.

There were seasons of my life when I made no impact for the Lord at all. I was too busy and caught up in everyday life, just grinding away, paying the bills. Sure I would pray, but not very hard. Overall I lived a powerless life that didn't have much of an effect on anyone. I was just trying to survive.

Another season I spent face time on the carpet praying and fasting, and soon I became a firebrand for the Lord. As scripture states, "He makes his messengers winds; His servants flames of fire" (Psalms 104:4). Soon when I went to church, I would fill my entire row with visitors that I brought with me. The pastor loved me.

Instead of speaking empty words, my words began to have power. Sometimes just quoting a simple scripture to encourage someone would cause them to start trembling and crying. People would come up to me and say, "I want what you have." When you get serious with prayer, good things begin to happen.

A key point of this scripture is to build yourself up first by praying. Also, keep yourself in the love of God. Jesus said, "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another" (John 13:35). Then you can become a powerful witness to others and not be tempted to do the same things they are. Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching (2 Timothy 4:2).

The power of your testimony directly depends on your lifestyle, for your actions speak louder than your words. The world is growing darker around us. Fear is growing, and the masses are becoming scared. The fields are becoming ready to harvest, but the workers are few. This is the time to press into God and get your assignment. No one can reach everyone, but everyone can reach someone.

It's time to plunder hell and populate heaven. Soon the world will be seeking a ray of hope, and those following Jesus will be the ones carrying it. Prepare yourself. Let's make our lives count for Jesus and work with Him to bring in the coming harvest.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I ask that You draw me to You in a special way. Fire me up, God. Please put Your words in my mouth, and I will speak them. Open the door, and I will step through it. May Your will be done in my life just as it is in heaven. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!

It's a wonderful Thursday, Marcia. Delighted to have you join our ladies group. Sylvia Todd facilitates this group and today is her birthday, so she's taking a day to celebrate. She'll see this request and add you to the group -- likely by tomorrow. Blessings over your day, too!
