The Vineyard from Refreshing Hope Ministries on Vimeo. I have always admired Amos, who was a shepherd in a field when the Lord told him to go and prophesy to King Jeroboam in Bethel. The priest Amaziah told him to prophesy somewhere else. They weren't interested in what the Lord had to say, but A...

Proverbs 24:16 WEB.Once again, I was the one who promised he would never do it again, then went and did it again. I had slowly drifted away one more time. I have found that it's easy to make promises...

Then Satan answered Yahweh, and said, "Does Job fear God for nothing? Haven't you made a hedge around him, and around his house, and around all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. But put forth your hand now, and touch all t...

  • He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:27-28 WEB.

It was time to get a better internet package for the ministry. So we went to the service provider's office, then signed in and sat down. We waited quite a while, but no one called us. I watched the clock while they helped the next person. Even though we had signed in before them, they were being waited on before us. It was annoying to be skipped over while we waited for them to help us.

After this happened a couple of times, I was ready to do some professional-level whining and complaining. When I went back up to the service desk, I found they had scratched our name off, skipped over us, and continued down the sign-in sheet. I felt cheated.

Eventually, a woman from upper management came down to help them catch up with the queue. She called us in next and waited on us personally. I was surprised because it was someone I had gone to school with. We had been friends long ago.

Someone else had told us that the highest speed business package would cost us around $300 a month, so we planned to get something more in the middle. However, my friend helping us said they were allowed to give a ministry the residential rate of $99 for the top tier. We would still have the same speed, service, and benefits of the highest tier business package but spend less money.

They saved us from making a mistake and gave us a much better internet package. We saved money as well, for it was about a third of what we would have had to pay. It turns out that it could not have worked out better, but we had to wait for it.

Have you ever been inconvenienced only to find out it worked out for the best? Some people met their spouse while waiting in a slow check out line at the grocery store. Had they not been stuck waiting in line, they would have walked right past each other.

The delays, setbacks, and disappointments you face will work out for your own good. The things that look bad, scary, the things that you are nervous about will work out for the best in the end. When God makes you wait, It is for a good reason. He always has something better in store.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for this beautiful day. I am so grateful to be here, right where I am. I know that You have good plans for me. I choose to delight in You today. I understand that the bad things are going to work out for good. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!

Note: Happy Sunday :)! For those who would like to join us, we will be hosting our RHM Live Online church service. This is a special time of worship, prayer, fellowship and an inspiring message. All are welcome! Here is the link to join: RHM Live

Amen! Thank you Lord for all that You do. Though we cannot anticipate your timing, I leave all the fear and worry behind and continue on keep'n on with Your commandments for loving You and men. Thank you for Your son, Jesus Christ and thank you for sending the Holy Spirit. This nation needs a great revival desperately.... as does the rest of mankind. We pray You incline your ear to our praise and petitions as we try to make this darkened earth a better place.

If my car hadn't broken down in Myrtle Beach, who knows what might have happened. I have a wonderful life here that I would have driven right past. Thank you God for directing me!
