But Rahab the prostitute and her father's household and all who belonged to her, Joshua saved alive. And she has lived in Israel to this day, because she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to spy out Jericho. Joshua 6:25 ESVThe least of the least, Rahab was always looked down on by the other women of the city. She was a prostitute, covered in shame with no hope, and no future. She exchanged sex for food to simply keep her and her family alive. When she trusted in the Lord and hid the spies that Joshua sent, she was brought into the Lord's family and became the great, great grandmother of King David. She is also listed in the lineage of Jesus Christ (Matt 1:15).
One of the most anointed women that I ever saw preach was a former prostitute. Almost from the time she started speaking, demons started screaming and coming out of people in the church. She said that when she first gave her life to Christ and was delivered of crack and many other things, no normal Christians would help her. Instead, she converted some of her street walking friends and started a ministry. Now God is powerfully using them to deliver people from very bad things.
No matter what you have done, no matter where you are, God has a place for you in His family. You have not wrecked your life and it can be redeemed. There is still hope. It is not too late. He will take you and use your life to reach others that are where you used to be. Start today by praying for Him to make what is important to Him, important to you.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, use me today. Forgive me of my past, cleanse me from all unrighteousness and help me live my life to the fullest. Make what is important to You, important to me, in the name of Jesus.Note: "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." (2 Chron 7:14). If you have a prayer need, we are here for you! We and the prayer team are ready to lift you up at our private prayer page:

I think that this Devotional article is very helpful. In my past I have done something's that I am not proud of. My Mom taught me how to live. She had forgiven me when I lied to her. My Mom stood by me when I was ill. She taught me to believe in God for whatever situation that I went through. I got my GED after dropping out of High School. I was blessed to complete Cosmetology School to have a career. My Mom stayed in my corner. She passed away in 2002. I miss her. If it was not for my mother's prayers I probably would not be here today. In my youth I was rebellious. God saved me and he showed me the right way to live.
Amen
Ament! Thank you for this message! Whenever we sin we think that God does not want to forgive us or that He will ever be able to use us again. That is not true! That is a lie that Satan, the Father of all Liars whispers in our ear. We sometime believe it because we feel quilty for the sins we have commited and our actiions. God loves us so much that He sent His only son, Jesus Christ to die in our place. He welcomes us home evey time we confess our sins before Him and he tells us He loves us and He is so glad that we came back to Him. Like in the prodigal son story, he runs to meet us and he welcome us with open arms and throws a robe on our back and a ring on our figure and tells us He loves us and He is so glad we came home. I love the story of the Prodigal son becaues it show our Fathers heart and love for us!
AMEN
